Great place for desert after a date with my gf. Got the cold brew creamtail. It was bomb. Cool ambiance. Staff was friendly.

A very modest international market with a focus on Indian groceries with a few other regions…read morecovered as well. A tasteful selection but light on non-mainstream options. I was happy to see Marie Sharp's hot sauce, albeit only a 5oz size ($4.99). 3.5 stars rounded up.

The expiration was 2023, but I imagine the heat and improper storage conditions is what must have made them go bad. I've grown up with these chocolates and I can tell how fresh they are by the smell alone. Knowing they had gone bad, I still went ahead and took a bite and the taste was as disappointing as I imagined they would be. They were only 3.99 for a pack so I decided to let it go. Now, had it been the usual 9$ I pay in New York, then I would have rushed back in there for my money. My suggestion to the business, since you obviously can't open and check every single chocolate, open the packs, and sell them individually for 25 or 50 cents a piece. Although you might lose a couple of dollars per pack, @25cents, ($1.49) or make an extra dollar @ 50c it sure beats the bad review and bad feeling for the customer who wasted $4 for stale chocolate. Considering here in Texas, that's half of someone's a hourly wage. Anyway, as far as the business, they have a good selection of Indian spices, some Peruvian spices, some Colombian candy/ which at this point I wouldn't trust, frozen Colombian and Indian foods. It's a good place to visit if you miss wherever you're from, or just want to expand your pallets.

It really is such a gem tucked away in the city in a very humble and simple outdoor shopping center, but certainly worth stopping by :) ! I had Googled the best souvenir shops close to my hotel and "So El Paso" popped up on my search ! I am so glad I stopped by here because they truly have some of the most thoughtful and meaningful gifts you can give anyone, whether you are a local to the area :) ! Or whether you're like me - a tourist who wants to bring back something thoughtful and meaningful to family and friends back home in CA :) ! I specifically wanted quality souvenirs that are really unique to the area or region :D ! I met the owner and also one of her employees :) ! Both of them were really friendly and warm ! The owner told me that she is originally from El Paso, but had lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 20 years before coming back to El Paso :) ! If I had heard correctly, I believe her employee told me that this store has been open since 2020. I purchased some Mexican candied cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! I purchased some Mexican spice cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! So far, I have only tasted the Mexican spice cocoa pecans, which are delicious :) ! I haven't tried the churro cookies and the margarita mixes yet :) ! But I plan to gift some of these to family and friends :) ! They also have nice holiday gift sets that are beautifully wrapped and ready to gift :D ! When I was shopping there yesterday, there was a customer there who seemed to be ordering in bulk for a group of people :) ! She was carefully choosing items to purchase as she was conversing with the owner :) ! So for sure, these are wonderful items you can gift to individuals or huge groups :D ! I wll definitely be back the next time I visit the west side in El Paso :) ! The owner and her employee really go the extra mile to take care of you and your needs :D !

There was a pile of chocolates in plastic containers stacked in the middle behind the counter. The señora that was there wasn't the most friendly, she definitely did not want to go out of her way to let me see what flavors were available to choose from. Flavors that I went in for were there not available. It's beautifully designed, inside and out! I came to this location because of an instagram reel or I had seen, so walking in to this was just sad.

At first impression these chocolates are beautiful! I told the owner that they looked like something you would find on the high streets of Paris. A very large selection of one-of-a-kind flavors you wont find anywhere else, so don't be surprised to see tamarind, chamoy or cactus of something. I told the shopkeeper I would be back the next day on my way to the airport to pick up a box. My travel plans changed that afternoon and it was 4:55pm (closes 5pm) and I called and asked if they could stay open another 10mins until I could get these. They happily obliged me and I was able to grab the chocolates for my wife on my way to the airport the same day. Definitely check this place out. Again, the chocolates are beautiful, you will not regret at least stopping by to see artistry in action and grab 2-3. I think a box of 24 was $45, which is by all means NOT expensive for the quality you are getting.
