There are several branches of boot's in Bolton centre and this one is situated in the large shopping precinct called 'The Market Place' on the ground floor.
When you first enter it feels and looks tiny as well as being narrow however once you walk to the back it veers out to the left into another open bit.
It stocks the usual toiletries, cosmetics, supplements and vitamins, snacks, nappies and infant items and has a pharmacy area.
However, it does feel cramped and the aisles feel very narrow making it near impossible to navigate around with a pushchair or wheelchair if someone is already perusing a shelf.
Despite opening out to large windows at the back it feels somewhat dark and dare i say dingy. Compared to the main branch in Bolton this one is a disappointment and only seems to hold skeleton ranges of stock. Although the staff are approachable you need to go to a till point to find one as it's rare to find any available on the actual shop floor.
This is a good place to go if you know exactly what you need but isn't the best or most appealing place to browse. read more
