Perhaps not the best, largest or modern of Boots locations in the city but the fact this store is open later than most other nearby branches (Until 9:30 pm on weekdays) providing a full pharmacy service in that time is really useful for the city centre - with it being at the enterance of Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. (It also opens at 6 during the week too, great to pop in on your commute!)
The drinks and to-go food selection is okay but I do feel other places within the station including WHSmith, Marks and Spencer and the Co-op outside are better, however.
It can get a little crowded at peak times, I do occasionally see warehouse boxes around the store too which makes this a little worse.
If you're looking for a flu shot, this store as of writing has the best availability in the city centre with appointments most days compared to the Arndale/Market Street branch which would have had me waiting over two weeks, and Piccadilly Gardens which has over a weeks wait for an appointment after 4:30 pm (This is a seasonal thing remember!)
Average store in most regards, but opening hours make it much more useful to pick up medicines when in the city.
