I'm already a regular at Longboon, but I've popped in here with a friend and found it to be as efficient. It is ver well stocked and the staff there even give advice when they see that you're probably thoroughly confused with what you have or rather are suffering with. A and A is probably one of the many Pharmacies in the vast Rusholme, noneltheless, its a pretty good one.

It stocks the general beauty products as well a fresh food section, your standard small Boots store.There isn't a lot more to say apart from kudos to the friendly staff who are always smiling! Perhaps not the best, largest or modern of Boots locations in the city but the fact this store is…read moreopen later than most other nearby branches (Until 9:30 pm on weekdays) providing a full pharmacy service in that time is really useful for the city centre - with it being at the enterance of Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. (It also opens at 6 during the week too, great to pop in on your commute!) The drinks and to-go food selection is okay but I do feel other places within the station including WHSmith, Marks and Spencer and the Co-op outside are better, however. It can get a little crowded at peak times, I do occasionally see warehouse boxes around the store too which makes this a little worse. If you're looking for a flu shot, this store as of writing has the best availability in the city centre with appointments most days compared to the Arndale/Market Street branch which would have had me waiting over two weeks, and Piccadilly Gardens which has over a weeks wait for an appointment after 4:30 pm (This is a seasonal thing remember!) Average store in most regards, but opening hours make it much more useful to pick up medicines when in the city. 3*

4Court Pharmacy is a nice pharmacy in Rochdale, the location is good for the town centre, as it is…read morepart of a Texaco garage, you can park right outside, and hopefully get in and out in a couple of minutes, you can literally pick up your medications while getting petrol (in a separate building of course!) The staff member working seemed really friendly, he was helpful and tried to serve me as quick as he can, they did have quite a large supply of medications, meaning I was able to get my Co-amoxiclav tablets which were out of stock at other pharmacies nearby. The late opening is also useful, they are open until 11 pm during the week and until 8 pm on Sunday's, with BARDOC services provided nearby, it means if you are visiting for an evening or weekend appointment, you can still get your medication that evening, without having to wait. COVID precautions are still in place, including unused space between the counter and entrance area, I do think it would have been nice if they kept the seats open for those who were waiting, but they seemed to split the social distance barrier across them. I was also able to pick up some of the free LFT Rapid Covid tests, provided by the government for regular community testing, which was handy, again many pharmacies seem to run out of these, so it was great to be able to pick up a set. 4* - A good pharmacy, which I would return to if I was in the area.

I had a huge ugly coldsore smack bang in the middle of my chin. The lady who served me was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The fact that she didn't even laugh and point was a bonus. She advised me on the best cream to zap my coldsore, and went into great detail about the formation of coldsores, giving me the advice to make an appointment with my GP if it got any worse. On a subsequent visit to this pharmacy to pick up a prescription, the staff were equally as amazing. They were so friendly and sympathetic to the customers, and even let me pop out to do some shopping rather than waiting around and risking catching a cold, or worse, off fellow customers. They stock all of the lotions and potions that a small chemist should, but it's the staff that I am giving 5 stars.

Stockton Heath Pharmacy is located next to the Stockton Heath Medical Centre. It's well hidden from…read morethe main stretch of Stockton Heath, but I was able to find it through the help of a friendly local after requiring assistance from a pharmacist after dining in a restaurant nearby. The pharmacy is fairly small, yet they still seemed understaffed, and I did have a short wait to be served at the counter and then deal with the Pharmacist. There are a small number of seats to sit and wait, such as if you're putting in a prescription. They are open until 9 pm between Monday to Saturday, which is helpful. While the pharmacist was friendly, he wasn't too much help, which made me just wish that I phoned 111 in the first place, and it made me feel like it was a wasted visit. The location and opening hours are useful, it is open in hours when Boots on the high street are closed, although it wouldn't be my first choice if I required pharmacy services in the area and there was an alternative. 3*

Sure there is other pharmacies around but when winter comes, it does become quite a struggle to get out. So therefore; a pharmacy was needed! It is a good pharmacy too, it takes prescriptions and you can wait for them, plus you can get flu remedies or anything else you need. I think that it works wonders for the little town.

I was really impressed with the service at Lloyds pharmacy - even if it was truly a case of…read moreflattery getting the best of me! You see I'd just been for my health insurance check up, a time when it's all about "oh no am I gonna be found out for the slacker lifestyle that I live" - Imagine my surprise when I received a full bill of health and was told I should "persevere with my current lifestyle" - back to the couch for me it is! But seriously this place was quite new, super clean and the health checks that are carried out are done in a private room off the pharmacy my a really friendly lady - not taking more than 30 minutes and well worth it for a bit of piece of mind. I'm petty sure these can be booked normally although mine was arranged by my health provider. A full pharmacy service is available as well as things you'd usually get in a chemists - it's nice to know it's just up the road if I need to nip up here again.
