The staff in this store are amazing. I visited last Friday, my birthday. The assistant Eve was…read morebrilliant. I explained I have a sight issue and can't read the labels on the gift sets. She read for me, what products were included and how to use them. She was so knowledgeable, really knew the products well. She never made be feel pressured to buy and was more concerned I found a gift I would love. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with a smile. I chose a Rose gift set. I love it. It smells delicious and feels very luxurious. Thank you Eve. September served me at the checkout. Eve has said it was my birthday and September put a label with a positive quote on it. She said she used the Rose body conditioned I had chosen and loved it. Fantastic customer service. They both made my day! This store has a great atmosphere. Guess where I am going to buy myself a Christmas gift? (If I can wait that long!)

I like Lush, but it seems to polarise opinion. If someone brought me something from here I would be…read morehappy (although not the bath bombs, I can't see the point of them). But If I brought something here for my grandma she wouldn't invite me round for tea ever again. I just really like the big slabs of soap in their big cheese wheels displays. One day, when I am rich beyond my wildest dreams, I will come in here, and instead of buying the smallest slice of Honey I Washed The Kids, I will buy the whole damn slab. (dream big kids, dream big). I do find the there is a lot of stuff here that I just skip past, like I said, what is the point of the bath bombs? They just leave a messy rim around the bath. Also, I can't get my head around the solid shampoo and conditioner bars - I once rubbed it over my head for about 10 minutes and still had greasy hair at the end of the shower. But there are things in here that I will always come into pick up. One is The Yummy One, a massage bar that I use in the shower which pumps so much moisture into my dry skin. The other is the BabyFace cleansing bar which takes your makeup off but doesn't strip your skin off at the same time, it leaves it really soft. If you are shopping here for the first time, be warned that the staff - who are very friendly and helpful - are big fans of the up sell, so you will be encouraged to compliment your purchases with more purchases.

This review is not concerned with whether people have actually lost weight using the Miruji massage chairs. Customers and potential customers do need to be aware that if they sign up to membership with this company they are signing up to a 12 month non-refundable contract. There is no cooling off period and no cancellation rights. Unfortunately you don't see this because the contract is written in such small print, and in some instances you are actually given the contract to sign in a dark room! So if the chairs are not for you, and you decide you don't want to use them any more - too bad. Whether you have attended no sessions or all sessions, once you've signed up Miruji will pursue you for the remainder of a whole year's membership and an 'admin fee' which comes all to in excess of £1000. They will also refer you to debt collectors. They will also threaten to damage your credit rating. They will also add additional costs for the privilege of being hounded by debt collection agencies which adds another £500 to the bill. Strangely, they do not rush to take you to court - perhaps they do not wish to have their contracts examined too closely by the legal profession. Equally strangely, the owner of this company went on Dragon's Den claiming that the average cost of membership was £600. It's difficult to see how this figure was calculated. So - why would anyone sign up? Because they are desperate to lose weight; it all sounds easy and plausible; AND because they are given some tempting incentives including a significant reduction in fees if they sign there and then - ie, with no time to read the very very small print in the contract. My advice to anyone tempted to use these services - don't sign anything!
