I just took the leather journal making class and I gotta say..... 10/10 highly recommend! For $25…read moreyou make a simple tri-fold leather journal. It's a total steal! They provide the tools and materials and the instructor (Eric) walks you through everything - from drafting a template to making that bungee bind, you walk home with a personalized journal cover AND the foundational skills needed to make more if you like. (Note: that last part requires you to buy your own tools, leather, and such....) Pro Tip: Bring your own journal! If not, they provide one for you (included in the price). I brought my journal because she's chonky. At the end of two hours, I felt like I took something super special home. I loved the class so much that I bought some additional tools to spice up my new cover. Plus, I had elastic cord at home to personalize it even more. Again, I can't say enough about what a good experience this was. The journal class sells out quickly, so sign up ASAP! P.S. Shout out to Eric who was taking care of the shop alone. He had to simultaneously teach and handle customers. I appreciated how patient he was with everyone. He didn't try to rush people and gave everyone his full attention. Plus, the classes ended on time. Bravo!

They're in the middle of nowhere and their prices are simply less because of this fact? Hm. With this outlet the service was not good. Very hands off, slightly bored. They had some fantastic prices and gorgeous pieces, but I I always worry about the quality, since as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. I think had I fallen in love with anything I would have purchased, but the only item that caught my eye was a neon pink purse. And lets face it. Even being me, how often would I use such awesome? 4 stars. Wouldn't schedule going there, but if you're in the area and you've checked all the consignment shops for actual quality, yea, sure.
