My job gave me a boot voucher and I went to this location since it's the nearest to me and what awful service they provide they should close this store down, the employees are useless and inattentive , I walked in and was not approached by anyone. I only got "help" when I went to the front desk and had to tell them myself that I had a voucher. The morons were just talking and laughing like they were at a bar and not working. The selection was as bad as the employees, I could only get what had a blue sticker which was dumb because the ones I wanted and have had previously did not have this sticker but did meet the requirements listed on my voucher, anyways never coming here again, the only person I would recommend this dump to is my worst enemy. read more

Bought a pair of boots here the brand were Carthart and they were promoted as the best of the best but honestly I'd say boots from Walmart would have lasted me longer than these. Bought them January 4, 2024 and wore them to work for 3 months and the heel separated from the sole of the boot. If that wasn't enough the tip of the shoe had stitching but wasn't even stitched from the leather to the sole it was all shoe glue. Horrible boot to wear don't buy any Carthart from here. read more

This was by far the worst shopping experience of my life!!! I was greeted by Melanie who smelled like onions (you would think management has a rule about employees smelling) then as we waited to finally get some help a tall chubby blonde was so incredibly rude !!! Come to find out she is the manager , unbelievable. They were using profanity and were talking about sex (which seemed so unprofessional) and refused to give us any service !!!!!! We waited for a whole 15 mins to get a size and we were completely ignored. DO NOT come to this place. customer service is absolutely terrible. And their lack of management surely shows! Had the worst greet ever !!! After waiting in line outside in the sun my husband and myself where waved down from the inside apparently I didn't see her waving she was upset when we came up to the door we open ourself , she asked in a rudely way if we wanted to come in . While if we had been standing in line it would be obviously we wanted to come in to shop . She gave us hand sanitizer and again rudely said sit and wait here and walked away . While we waited she helped some else . I came to bootworld in October of 2109 and a young man by the name of Julio help me from the second I walked in the store. Has great service really enjoyed my experience here at this bootworld in Chula Vista off Palomar been to all the other's and just the experience here in the store from the store mgr to Julio's expertise really made a huge difference. Not to mention for the single ladies Julio is a good looking young man lol. Just throwing it out there! Wintertime or summertime, people in SD know how to keep it fashionable. This shop has a wide range of boots. Uggs in a variety of colors and designs. I went in today and looked around...compared prices and what not. The workers were helpful and told us the difference between Ugg brands and the other similar products. Uggs can be pricey...but you pay for the quality...if thats too much for ya...they always got cheaper brands such as EMU. I have no idea how this place stays open. I went in, looking for a size 9 shoe because I am an 8 1/2 and do not like my shoes to be snug. The sales associate, not sure of her name, brought me a size 8 and kept insisting that I try on the shoes. I'm not sure why she thought that my size 8 1/2 foot would fit in a size 8 shoe, but to shut her up, I tried to put them on. I'm gonna assume she used to put squares into circles when she was a child. When she saw for herself that only my toes made it into the shoe comfortably, she just grabbed the shoes she brought out and walked away. Didn't offer to look at another location or anything of the sort. Just picked up the shoes, put them back in the stock room and then went behind the counter like she was never assisting me to begin with. I guess I didn't matter anymore since she wasn't going to make a commission off of me. Lol. Anyway, I found them at the location in El Cajon. I also got better customer service at that location. And, that location doesn't look like a dirty, put together by teenagers warehouse. It actually had AC that was working and smelled clean. I could careless who the sales associate was from this location. The whole store just sucks! read more

All I could say is that I don't think I will ever come back to this location after today. Today 1/24/19 around 6:10 pm "Supervisor" Estella just gave a lady the worst customer service experience ever. The lady told her if she could please hurry because she wasnt feeling good, Estella told her that she was doing her job and that she didnt want to hear what she had to say. It made me feel so uncomfortable and sorry for the lady that was with her husband and I want to think her son. Honestly think that whoever is in charge of that store needs to improve their training on customer service specially in the person you title a supervisor. When it was my turn I could see she was really frustrated . When she finished my transaction I said thank you Estella!, she didn't bother to respond. I asked who the manager was, and she told me she was the supervisor. Seriously thats a supervisor? I'll jus avoid that store. Previous to that I went there once 1/10/19 to be exact, the workers there were not interested in helping customers.
