Established in 1982.
Boot Country has been a family owned business for over 32 years. Starting as one store in the great city of Cincinnati, selling only western boots, Boot Country has grown into 4 retail stores across the Tri-State Area. We are located in Eastgate, Tri-County, Dayton, and Burlington, Kentucky. Now selling work boots too, we are "Two Stores in One: Boot Country | Work Country!"
Meet the Business Owner: Bill V.
On a wing and a prayer in the fall of 1982, Bill and Kay Van Fleet uprooted their family and moved to Cincinnati, OH to open Boot Country in an old house on Chester Road. Bill had 15 years of experience in selling and custom fitting western boots when they started. Through a lot of long days and hard work, Bill and Kay now have four retail stores and sell work boots too! 32 years later, Boot Country | Work Country is going strong, and is still a family owned and operated business! (Our mascot got its name from the owner. Go Wild Bill!)
