When I was in Friday they were in the process of switching over to fall attire. Lots of gorgeous blouses and dresses in fall colors, florals and jewel colors with sunglasses, jewelry, booties, hats, scraves and sweaters to accessorize that new outfit. I received a warm greeting as I entered the spacious shop. Since it was my first visit the young lady explained where each size group was located from small to plus sizes, and where to find different accessories. I always enjoy a store that I can go directly to my size and not waste time. Each area was organized well and easy to shop. Love the barn door dressing rooms too. A great spot where you can build a stylist outfit head-to-toe quickly or grab a few items to update an existing piece. I look forward to returning soon to browse the new items.

I always tell people if you need a black or black and white outfit shop here first. The shop is loaded with gorgeous black and white clothing, many handbags, hats, accessories, racing decor and a limited amount of home decor. Sizes range from X-Small to 3X and there is a dressing room for trying on clothing. Several drivers have shopped here and signed the drivers/celebrities wall. She has several racing items in the front half of the store. Check it out if you're a collector. You never know what you'll find. We've been lucky and found several cool collectibles here. Stop in to browse and feel free to have a seat and visit for a few minutes. She's closed Sunday through Tuesday and open Wednesday through Saturday.

Only after the pandemic lockdown have I found that their inventory has changed somewhat regarding shirts. I did manage to find two shirts I like last month which were the Apt. 9 brand, one of the same brands I used to buy all the time. They have also added a new brand of jeans called Buffalo. I bought two pair of Buffalo, Slim, Ash, black jeans with the stretch waist band last month. I liked them so well I returned this week and picked up another pair of regular looking blue jeans in the same Buffalo, Slim, Ash, Stretch style. I perused the shirts once again but was unable to find anything I like. Either everything is flannel or too heavy of material or the shirts have a buttoned down collar. I don't know why sport shirts have a buttoned down collar. I'm not wearing a tie with them. I do buy some jewelry at Kohl's when I shop for birthday or Christmas presents. I have seven granddaughters and I'm always looking for deals. I have found a few deals from Kohl's in the past so I keep an eye out.

What I realized is that for plus sizes you have to shop online to find stuff. However, I have found loads of plus size items on the clearance racks in store both in Avon and Plainfield. I will say some of the sizes are way bigger than typical so you're always guessing whether you need to size up, size down or buy true to size. I've bought my size, larger and smaller with varying results. The staff in store have always been nice and friendly and will always let you know if you have credits to use.
