We looked over the menu and decided on Pepperoni pizza and Philly steak poutine. The pizza was under cooked but still tasted delicious, the Philly steak poutine was piping hot and delicious!! Must say this was a great breakfast experience. Was recommended by friends to check this place out…read more We arrived about 8:15 am we were met at the door by a friendly lady name Falicia that sat us in a booth and told us she will be our server as well. She served us coffee and then took our breakfast order. Which was Canadian Benedict, Spicy Chicken Breakfast Bowl and two cups of the best coffee we have tasted at a restaurant. Didn't take long and our breakfast was in front of us steaming hot. Falicia asked us if we were enjoying our choices of breakfast with our mouths full of delight we nodded yes!!! Felica took great care of us by keeping our coffees full and making sure we were happy with the food. In fact all the staff had smiles and friendly. This new Breakfast Place called mbc did not disappoint and we will be back. This Breakfast place is a hopping place on the weekend, you may want to call ahead to reserve a table and time. Not sure during the week, when we left at 9:15 am there were people waiting to be seated. -Inside was clean with a trendy vibe -Washrooms clean -plenty of parking

The space is a typical juice bar, with a few tables, some grass growing on the counter, lots of noisy machinery to pulverize ingredients into tasty treats. I mean, you need some serious blenders to turn a beet into a smoothie treat. There's also a variety of wraps. The chicken caesar wraps were nice, and I loved the veggie sriracha wrap. Light and grilled. I've had the kale nut smoothie before and as usual the coconut flavour was great. I probably shouldn't have added a vega protein because it made the drink a little chalky, but only if you compared it to one without. Service was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was so excited to try this place after hearing about it. The items on their menu not only looked…read morebut also sounded delicious. What a disappointment! The restaurant itself was pretty clean and modern inside. The service was mediocre although the restaurant was not very busy. Our waitress was great up until the food was delivered. She never once bothered to check in to see how the meal was or if we needed water refills. She only made an appearance once it was time to deliver the bill. Our food was NOT good. We ordered the hot honey chicken benny, a side of bacon, and black bean avocado benny. The potatoes were cold, bland, and hard which tells me that they were undercooked. We also asked for our eggs poached hard but only one of them came out hard. The rest were soft and extremely runny. The bacon was cold and didn't appear to be fresh. It looked like it had been sitting off to the side for some time. Hollandaise sauce had a weird flavour which I suspect was probably a powder mix or from a can. The only semi decent item on the plate was the chicken with the hot honey sauce. The avocado benny was just okay. As we were on the road and needed to get back we didn't want to sit around and wait for a new dish to be made. I also found that it made my stomach a bit upset for the remainder of the day. I had such high hopes however, I do not recommend this place. It looks like it's heavily franchised around Canada similar to Denny's, Ihop, and those other breakfast chains.

The Poke bowl is $12.99 and I added avocado for $1 (1/6 of an avocado). This is a really expensive Poke Bowl. The bowl is small and I was left still a bit hungry afterward. The Poke Bowl tasted really good probably because it had lots of sauce to it. I noticed lots of people don't order Poke bowl here. But they have a lot of other healthy options. Guessing their main theme food is toward health. Customer niche = Health cautious people who don't don't mind paying extra. Well they do have some interesting food or snack on the shelf. My colleague got water and it was like $4.50 from what I heard from him. I was shocked. No its not special water, just regular bottle water. Definitely pretty pricy. I liked the food. I go to use one of said vouchers for my kids as the other was used in Market Mall Jugo several weeks ago and didn't realize I still had one. Market mall will always let you split a large smoothie and put it into two cups for your little ones, the large ones are too big for them. On maybe one occasion they said that I need to pay for the additional cup, which was 30 cents, no biggie when you are paying $6 for a smoothie. It is an additional cup that they will be out of pocket for, I don't mind at all. Fast forward to a week or so ago, we happen to be at Cross Iron Mills and after the fiasco below I give them a second shot because my kids were begging for one. I go to use the other coupon for my kids and ask for the large to be split for the kids in two small cups. He takes the coupon, reads it over and says, "well maam, you can have it but I need 60 cents for the cups!" Really? Now charging double what the other locations charge, when he would fully get reimbursed from head office for the coupon. I CANT BELIEVE IT! NEVER AGAIN. What an ass. Also, totally runny smoothies here. Also, the green tea matcha smoothies at Cross Iron, North Hill Mall, Sunridge and Cardel Place are really weak even if you ask for extra matcha powder. I now drive out of my way to Market mall to get it done right there. I love Jugo, it sucks when ass-hats run these places.
