I've gotten a couple of London Fogs here and they're pretty on the mark. So many places make them way too sweet. The building faces east and there's some nice big windows at the front so you can enjoy your morning brew sitting in the sunshine and reading something from their sizable magazine rack. They do have some food options including sandwiches and baked goods which are pre-assembles and individually wrapped. The service has been friendly and served with a smile on both occasions I've popped in for a pick-me-up while out on a job site.

When I went inside, the store was cleaned well. It has also been well stocked minus after a certain time when they are cloae to cloaing the dining room. The staff has mostly been friendly and quick at their job without akimping on customer service. I typically go through drive-thru, though, so I will speak more on that. I used to work at Tim Hortons and know their policy on drive-thru orders. For example, drive-thru orders need to be out within 2 minutes of the order being submitted. Now, we all know that rarely happens. As long as customers aren't trying to buy the entire store through the drive-thru, it can be accomplished. But it's really not the end of the world if they don't. However, something that they have recently started doing is taking the order, putting it on the screen, and then asking us to give them a minute. And then we are sitting there wondering what is going on. Is there a problem with our order? Are they checking to make sure they have something we ordered? Lack of communication. Once, we sat at the order box for 5 mins with no reason. Eventually, we ended up driving up because no one was telling us anything. As we were coming up to the window, a hand popped up gesturing for us to stop. When we got to the window, the young woman on the other side got mad at us and was raising her voice at us for driving up because we would hit the drive-thru plate, which would force the timer. We found out our order wasn't submitted yet because she wanted it to be ready beforehand so the timer would show less than two mins. They don't want the times to be over so they don't get in trouble with their head office but she was willing to sacrifice customer service for it and that seems to be what the standard is these days at this location. The supervisor on duty apologized for the wait and lack of communication. Other than that, I have never had any problems with this location. I still continue to come here as the rest of the staff has been wonderful and they always get the food and drinks right.

Place is clean, bright and welcoming - wasn't very busy for a Saturday afternoon - however it seemed to be picking up when we were leaving. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a Vietnamese coffee shop out here in Calgary. We ordered two drinks to go - iced morning coffee and coconut coffee. The difference between the morning and afternoon coffee is the coffee roast that is used to make the drink. It is an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I have not seen this option of stronger coffee in Vancouver, but I think it is great that they have the option. I took a sip and it tasted exactly what I expected with a bold coffee kick and sweet condensed milk. I also enjoyed the coconut coffee. It was sweet and slushy with a good coconut flavour. This was way better than the Timmy's ice cap I had a few days earlier. Service was fast. We did not get to enjoy the ambiance as we had a list of activities we were trying to do for the day. Definitely, this place is worth a revisit when we are back in town again.
