Although this deli is conveniently located on campus right inside the Education building, and…read morealthough they offer delicious sandwiches, coffee and desserts, It's not my favourite place to frequent while I'm in the area. Why you ask? A couple of reasons: 1) The service is not great 2) If you pay with debit, you get charged an additional fee. Any place that does that loses stars in my books. Who carries cash all the time anyways?!?!? 3) if you go in the afternoon, they are normally out of the flavoured coffee so you're forced to have their house blend or dark roast blend which aren't as tasty Overall, it's a convenient place to have on campus, but If I have my choice, I wont make the pit-stop regardless of if it's on my way or not.

They have few Indian flavoured ice creams and few regular ones. I have been here 3-4 times and I have tried : Royal Rose, Fruits and nuts, cassata , kulfi, Raj Bogh and also brownie with vanilla ice cream. Every flavour I have tried is good. I love the royal rose the most. Once I got a pint of fruits and nuts to go, however that tasted weird, maybe that would have been sitting there for a while, as I have tried a scoop of fruits and nuts before and it tasted good. Service is friendly and quick. A must try!

Staff were friendly. My beverage was made to perfection quickly. They accept the Starbucks app. What more could you ask for? Okay, a unicorn maybe - the Bear-ista glass bear would have made this magical but otherwise perfection! I tried a few small mom and pop coffee shops while in Cochrane for a hockey tourney and while yummy none of them had the protein milk or protein boost options I was looking for - so back to my old faithful I go :-)

The cake was very moist , had lots of poppyseeds , lemony flavor and the white icing was lemon flavor too . So delicious and my sister in law had a piece and said it was excellent. Nice to support small community businesses . Cake is all gone and I forgot to take a picture of it . But I would buy this again when I crave poppyseed !

The cake still had parchment paper between the layers, which my family had to pull out of their mouths as they took bites of the cake. I figured it was a one-off mistake and sent an email to let the bakery know. This could have been a serious choking hazard, especially for small children or elderly people. Lakeview Bakery never responded to my email. It's one thing to mess up now and again. It's another to ignore a loyal customer who was trying to point out your mistake privately for the sake of your business. This lack of acknowledgement is why I'm writing this review. The barrista just gave it to me since I think it was at least 5 min wait....and that is kinda long. In the past I use mobile app order and it was pretty dead on and fast. I haven't been in the store per say I would imagine its equally clean and inviting. Oh the other feature they have... When you order...you can see your barrista taking your order in the screen as well as if they are putting in your order correctly. Pretty impressed....5 stars for now...great service...they know when they are at fault and makes it up to the customer. Happy.

I ordered a fresh strawberry smoothie and it took pretty long to make, probably because it's fresh. I asked if they had the mixed fruit jelly and the lady said yes but gave me lychee jelly...not sure if she understood me? Not a big deal, as long as it's not the tapioca. The only con is that it is on the expensive side, $6+ for a drink? Really? Also my boyfriend said the tapioca pearls had no flavor so he was disappointed. If I was in the area I would come back. Unfortunately It was almost impossible to eat the burger, the bun falling apart as I tried to grasp it to remove from the container. I'm not sure if this indicates stale? I ate it, wasn't overly dried out just a mess half way through, not even half way. Oh well. The burger patty itself and toppings were fine. The onion rings were very good, I enjoyed those, the kind that I like, not the breaded type, the battered type and they were hot, fresh and tasty. I'd give it another try sometime, maybe just a one off experience but if I don't provide feedback, you don't know. Better luck next time. Aaron was helpful and polite to my wife who came in to place the order and pickup. Kudos Aaron. I considered that this review might have been a 2, customer service, (polite and friendly staff) and the rings and nice clean establishment made up for the bun oversight. If the bun had been fresh or of another type pretty decent and the 3 stars fairly earned. Thanks just the same.
