For my instance, I got there a few minutes early and it was near 30 minutes before the person helped me. The most frustrating (hence, one start reduction) is there are tons of employees roaming around "selling" while they have only a few folks at the Genius Bar helping people out. All that said, they did restore my iPhone with a fresh install of iOS 26.5, I hooked to their WiFi and started downloading apps. I did prioritize a few apps I was having problems with and verified one of those before leaving. At home the download of the apps was much faster and my issues were resolved.

The next day after work I went to the Shadyside location and I am so grateful I did. They helped me decide on purchasing a new phone and the whole process was very smooth. I ended up buying the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and trading in my old phone. The staff walked me through everything step by step and were very patient with all the questions I had. Inside, it looks like your typical Apple Store with a wide open layout, lots of devices and accessories on display, and plenty of employees available to help when needed. The store was busy but still well organized. Zach helped me out and he was fantastic. He explained all the updated features on my new phone, especially the camera, which I am really excited about. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. Overall I had a great experience and I am very thankful for the help I received. I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit.

At my birthday dinner we opened it and discovered the following three things: 1. It was a lemon and does not work. Not a big surprise as it is a cheap, made in China knock-off, which they glued some wood to. 2. The way it is constructed, it will not hold your phone unless it is out of the case. This is not something they mention on their website. 3. Their return policy is a dense page of things they will not cover. Including any defects discovered after it has been more than two days since you picked up the order. Even if you somehow end up being eligible, they want you to pay to ship the product back to them, and they will not refund shipping costs. I hope this review helps someone else not make the same mistake.

I contacted customer service and they immediately refused a return or refund of any kind, and pointed me to the return policy on the website (which is outrageous). Now I'm out $80+ and only have half of phone case. Looking back now, its suspicious that every review they have is 5 stars. I wouldn't be surprised if they regularly take down negative reviews. It just fell out of my lap, not a big drop, just cracked so I came to get it fixed. I paid $400 to get my screen fixed and when I came back, my cellular data was not working. It said my phone had no service. I was speaking with the general manager, Terrell (who was very condescending and rude in his tone which I also saw in another review) throughout my entire experience and he looked at me confused and said that I needed to go home and update my phone and that would fix the issue. I went home and updated my phone but woke up still with no cellular data. I took it back to the shop where they told me it would take two hours just to look at my phone and give a call back to tell me what was wrong. After waiting three hours they called back to tell me that they don't know the issue and they need to wait for their general manager Terrell once again to come in which wasn't until 2 PM the next day. I waited until the next day and had to wait another two hours for Terrell to see if he could fix my phone after walking into the store since I hadn't heard from them within the time I was supposed to I was told that my phone was beyond repair and received a refund. After three days of being in and out of the store, all I got was a broken phone. Do not recommend whatsoever.

A week later I call and see what's the estimated wait as we were moving that Friday. He claimed he was waiting to see if it could be fixed and that it was now the charging port that was damaged done at their store and he would have to send it out to Monaca or another location. In the meantime he would give us a loaner (one that someone paid for and never came back to get!) My fault for setting for that tablet. We moved to North Carolina and this tablet also does not hold a charge!! Its not even worth coming back to PA and giving them this tablet back so here is yall warning. Also!!!! They have me a generation 9 and not the 10 like we brought in. The trade in value is pennies!!! Go to apple and not one of these places for your apple devices. The whole surrounding area has horrible reception and vast dead spots all over this area in a radius over several miles. These are not rural and secluded areas! Though many of the surrounding rural areas are horrible too. I've been complaining about this for years to no avail. They have done nothing and I don't think they ever will, to remedy this regardless of how often I, or everyone else has complained. A rep actually confirmed to me that they have several complaints. I'm far from a Karen, but for what we pay for this service, I expect it to, not only work, but to outperform the rest by a large margin. I have a phone that runs on Visible for $25 a month, which uses Verizon's network, so I get the same service for around 5X less the price! When my contract obligation is over, I'm out!!! 2 lines for well over $200. I have a friend who has cricket and she gets connectivity in almost all of the areas that I lose internet access. She pays a $100 for 4 lines for her family!!!! WTF! If you live in this area, do business in this area or frequent this area and need internet service, DO NOT GO WITH VERIZON!

Anyway, I don't recommend Verizon Wireless over any other carrier. Moving forward, I'll try to disentangle myself from them (pay off devices) and go to another carrier.
