I went into AT&T to get a new phone and was met with pushy, slimy sales tactics instead of actual customer service. The staff focused entirely on upselling unnecessary add-ons, avoided giving clear answers, and rushed through the important details. It felt misleading and dishonest, like they cared more about screwing me over and money in their pockets than helping a customer make the right choices. I have been on the phone with AT&T for several hours trying to clean up the mess they made. Since it has been over 14 days everyone is saying they cannot help the situation. I went back up to this store to see what their explanation was behind all of this and all he said was "I don't know, I guess it was a mistake." I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. Buying a phone should be simple, not something that feels manipulative. This experience completely destroyed my trust for AT&T. I would not recommend this AT&T store to anyone. If you value transparency and respect, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Literally two months later the screen went black and wouldn't show any signs of life. After taking it to Apple for inspection, they told me this store damaged the inside while repairing the screen. While traveling in Florida the following week the screen quit working and our granddaughter took it to a repair shop who installed a new screen which more than likely not needed. It worked a few days and then quit again today. My son who works at ATT said it could just need rebooted. I could not power it down the normal way but the tech at CPR tonight, 8/3/26, knew what order to reboot it with the volume up, volume down and restart buttons. Working great now!
