It's a Boost Juice, smoothies, juices, standard fare.
The reason for the review is that I was particularly impressed with an employee "Kate" (on 18-11-12).
Kate was clearly having a bad day, not smiling, thanking, greeting, anything. So customer service wasn't stellar, though the rest of the staff buzzed around, all smiles.
The straw dispenser had jammed/gone empty and Kate was refiling it with a large, irritated looking woman waiting. This customer then jammed her hand into the box of straws, pulled out a handful, and dumped them into the dispenser. It appeared that no other staff or customers noticed. Kate took the time to remove the dispenser, throw the handled straws away, wiped down everything, inside and out, before refilling with clean straws and serving my drink.
I don't know if she is just an obsessive clean freak, but I appreciate the effort and cost that is, I hope, systemic Boost when it comes to hygiene, even when it seems no one is looking and an off-checklist event happens.
Also, in the rare event that any Boost corporate types read this: provide one free boost with every smoothie. It creates greater product awareness and market differentiation against the other places on the market that offer more basic mixed juices and the marginal cost is negligible. read more
