(Also: How positively Melbournian!) Upon arrival at this tiny shop on the outside of South Melbourne Market, I was immediately beguiled by the recherché menu. Gems from it include a shroom latte (medicinal mushroom powder, chicory root, dandelion, stevia, almond milk) and an 'I Love Oprah' smoothie featuring monga waratah, a shrub endemic to Australia that's purported to help one find inner strength. After a long peruse I ordered the Mexicano Cacao (raw cacao, cacao butter, chilli, black pepper extract, cayenne, coconut milk) for myself and a cup of the bone broth to share with my mates. The Mexicano Cacao was rich and nicely spicy. But the real winner was the wonderfully toothsome bone broth. I could easily drink a cup a day of this savory stuff.
