This office runs patients thru like cattle. The only face-time you have to discuss your problems is at your "fact-finding" appointment. After that, your contact with Dr. Boos is while lying face-down on the table. Usually he talked more about his personal issues than my health issues. My communication regarding my progress was limited to three lines on a check-in sheet that I filled out at every visit.
I would lay on the table waiting for him - at least 20 minutes, which followed a 30 minute to 1-1/2 hour wait sitting in very back-unfriendly office seating - looking at dirt and flecks of unidentified gunk under the table. I inquired as to why they didn't clean more often, and was told they wiped the tables twice a day (let's figure a minimum of 16 people lay breathing and shedding into that space during the day).
Actual time spent with him was about 10 minutes.
The waiting and treatment area are open, so you can see what's going on with other patients. During the hours I sat watching, I never once saw him wash or sanitize his hands between patients. The deal killer was the day I watched him take off a lady's sandals, manipulate her dirty feet (yep, I could see the dirt on the soles of her feet), then walk over to the next patient and put his arm across her shoulder. Ew.
As far as effectiveness, I improved for the first couple of weeks, then plateaued for the next six. When I noted this on one of my three lines, his solution was to send me videos that instructed me to do things I was already doing.
The staff is nothing to write home about. Don't expect your insurance to be filed in a timely manner. I'm still waiting for claims to be filed from 2 months ago. I had to pay for each visit up front. They have my money, so one might assume they are not concerned with your insurance. read more
