The name of this restaurant is Classic Diner and that's exactly what it is, classic diner food…read moreserved in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you stepped into the past or onto the set for the TV series Happy Days. I expected to see the Fonz walk in at any moment. It was a blast from the past. Our server, Jennifer, took good care of us. We didn't have to wait long for anything. She was quick, friendly, and professional. I got a chicken fried steak, baked potato and fried okra. I started to get mashed potatoes but I asked if the potatoes were powdered. They were, so I got a baked potato instead. It was a good choice. The okra was fried to perfection and the serving was so large I had to leave half. I liked that I was able to order a small portion of chicken fried steak. The cream gravy is why I order chicken fried steak and this cream gravy did not disappoint. My cousin got the special which included soup, salad, and a sandwich. My other cousin got a chef salad. We all enjoyed our lunch and looking at the decorations. I will stop here again next time we pass through Henrietta.

No complaints about the 1/4 pound of bacon it looked like it had! 5 Waitress went out of her way to make this reunion of old Navy Buddies. Next time I come thru there at breakfast time, this it where I'll eat.

A spot offering classic American fair, including breakfast all day. An established local favorite…read morethat is worth the drive. I normally treat myself to a late breakfast or an early lunch, something those hip young people refer to as brunch, after a successful morning of court. Located on the west side of I-75, hard to miss. The building doesn't look in the best shape, interior could use some work too but that's part of the charm. The place is clean, with not much decorations. The menu and tables are plastered with local advertisements. They offer everything from your typical breakfast staples, to sandwiches, steaks and weekly comforting specials. My typical order is the ham steak breakfast. $13.99 gets you a meal that leaves you full for the next day and half. They give you a slice of ham, topped with a grilled pineapple, that takes up a whole plate by itself. Eggs cooked to order and the compliments of your choosing whether it be grits (my personal favorite), pancake, or homemade biscuit and gravy (also good, but easily makes this meal cross the line of excessive) and toast or an english muffin. The eggs are really cooked to order and in butter. Never had a bad experience there. Staff is friendly. Probably the only restaurant I know in existence that still has a smoking section, that seems as big or bigger than the non-smoking area.

Stopped here before going to the Muscogee Nation party this last weekend. I was meeting a couple of…read morefriends here to grab some grub. Ive seen this place plenty of times driving into town but had never eaten there. The two guys I was with are regulars and you could tell by how we were greeted at the door. As an aside, I think this must be one of the only places left in the state that still has a smoking section. Anyway we were greeted and sat down and somebody came right over and took our drink orders. So far so good. Girl came back and took our orders. One guy got an omelet, the other just some bacon and scrambled eggs. One of the specials was a breakfast ribeye so I opted for that. Big mistake on my part. Ordered the steak, medium, the eggs over medium, and tomato slices instead of hashbrowns. Food comes out and the other guys stuff looks good. Mine looks like a wreck. The "steak" was just a piece of grey meat with no fat, it looked like a boiled piece of chuck. Grey color all the way thru. Definitely NOT medium. The eggs were extra runny, definitely not over medium. Even the tomato slices were a disappointment. They used cheap Roma tomatoes. Literally just down the street, there is a farmers market with folks selling beautiful garden ripe tomatoes and they served tasteless Roma tomatoes. My food was a complete wash. Can't recommend this place at all. Service was good, food was horrible.
