I was here for a recent three-day author event. They did an amazing job! They have lots of spaces…read morefor large and small meetings/presentations, and their full-service restaurant catered two wonderful evening receptions. The store itself is very-well organized, with many comfy seats for reading and socializing, including a lovely fireplace area. Horse Cave, KY is a surprising little destination on our trip to Mammoth Caves and we were delighted with our finds while visiting this little town. Most everything is located in a pretty small quadrant, so you can make your rounds to all the different shopping locations pretty easily. This book store was surprisingly big, and had something from every genre. Prices are reasonable and they even have some items that would be considered more collectable and had prices that acknowledged that. Staff was really nice and helpful and they had some really great prices. We would stop in here again if we made our way back to Horse Cave.

Literally floor to ceiling, every room in what appeared to be an old converted house, was packed with books of all genres while maintaining a clean and well organized environment. While I was just browsing, I'm sure they had anything you may desire. From standard used books they also had more collectible editions, great for not only adding to your own but also gifting. There was even some seating available in some of the rooms so one could even take a little break from perusing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, able to navigate the vast collection with ease. Books were all priced fairly as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
