Everything was well organized, reasonably priced, and just so much fun. The selection is honeslty a bit difficult to describe but truly contained such a variety of items, from specialty origami papers to fun matchboxes, decor, and various trinkets. One thing that stood out though was their incredible boom selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would likely return, not only for gifts but to get myself a few items.

Sqecial Media is a popular store located right off U.K. campus. They have so many cool things:…read morebooks, jewelry, incense, coffee mugs, cards, tapestries, candles, etc. Due to COVID, they have extensive guidelines. First, you must call to set up an appointment to shop. The store is small so they only allow a certain amount of people inside. They have different hours as well. Upon entering, they require a face mask and hand sanitizer before browsing the store. The location is literally right off campus. Parking can be annoying in this area. There is street parking in front or a small parking lot behind the store. Keep this in mind when visiting. There are a couple of other businesses located in the same building: a Korean restaurant (delicious) and a music store downstairs. If you're looking for a fun and unique store, definitely visit!

Me, my girlfriend, and her father went in to Spencer's to do some shopping last minute. Like 5…read moreminutes in an employee started following us, which I can understand keeping an eye on people. I work retail and understand. She started to get closer over time, then right behind me when I turned around and asked if she needed anything, she replied with "huh" and I then asked, "do you need something from me?" She then said, "I work here" and walked away.... I was going to buy some stuff then left after being uncomfortable. I went in right before I left about 45 minuets to an hour later to get what I wanted. As soon as we walked in 3 employees started staring at me and stood 2 feet away from me and my girlfriend, we started looking at the things I wanted and 2 lady's came up to us and stood behind us, Blatantly talking about us, I hear 1 say "I didn't see anything but followed them".. the man who was at the counter was looking at the lady's behind us so we looked behind and she says, "we're just signing to each other" (meaning sign language) and we continued to look, later on she says, "those bottoms are $1.99 so watch out" and I said okay I can see the sign. I put everything on the counter and the lady starts pointing to us and saying stuff. At this point I'm furious. I understand keeping your store free from thieves, but there are things that can be handled differently. All the following, staring, and talking and giving attitudes to me and Other customers, makes me never want to support your business, or ever shop there again. The man who was at the counter was very nice, kept conversation, and was respectful. So thank you for that at least. I don't appreciate being talked about right in front of me, or being followed around in a store. Nor feeling like a theft for trying to Christmas shop.

It's a cool little spot with a good vibe and the owner was incredibly outgoing and nice. My friend and I both got cold brews which were okay, slightly on the "weaker" side for my personal taste. My friend also got a cinnamon roll which was good but all of the baked goods looked great! I didn't noticed they also offered sandwiches until we were about to leave or I would have tried one of those as well. I will definitely be back to try more options!

I want to say maybe having a bad day but doesn't seem like it based off other things I have read and heard. Mocha frappe was fine.
