She went ahead with ignoring me and even assisted two other customers before talking to me. I eventually got tired of waiting and spoke to the manager. The manager was super apologetic and super helpful. She dropped everything to make sure I was served personally by her. This manager made my bad experience amazing. Because of the manager, I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. So to clarify, this store is great and I will not let one bad service experience deter me from getting what I know will be a great experience from now on. Go visit this store if you want great customer service, and if you run into an issue, talk to the manager. She will 100% make sure it's good to go.

The store shows its age, there are things placed here and there, so remember to take a good look, you might actually find what you've been looking for. You can get homemade deli sandwiches on the super soft white bread that sticks to the roof of your mouth when you take a bite. Nothing fancy but it's nice to get lunch for 2 for less than $10 anywhere these days. They serve breakfast as well but I haven't made it in to try that yet. They also sell fuel but you can't pay at the pump. I would find that annoying some places but it just makes sense here. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of places left like Shelton's.

I bought my new hot water heater there. They even loaded it in my SUV for me. This store has so many items to choose from, they've become my go to for just about everything I've needed. Forget the Big Box hardware store, give APE a look. You won't regret it.
