I have been to this Walgreens twice. My first experience was wonderful. My second time was…read moredisappointing, as it was closed. Let's get to the positive experience first. This store is super close to the hotel where I'm staying. It takes less than five minutes by car. I came here to get some beverages. I ended up getting a twelve-pack of Diet Dr. Pepper. This store has everything you need. Fake nails? Yep. Shampoo? Sure. Advil? Yes. Sugar-free candy? Definitely. I was in the hair care section. There were two women getting hair dye. One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. If you do get the munchies late at night, you are better off finding a different place in case it decides to shutter early. (225)

Is this some sort of poison ivy?" The pharmacist told me no, and within a week I was covered head to toe in a poison ivy rash, getting a steroid shot at the Doctors office. I'm prescribed a topical steroid cream that takes 3 days to show up at this pharmacy. I am unable to sleep, and am driven to the edge of my sanity trying not to scratch at the full body rash. I vow never to go here again. Fast forward to New Years Eve. Everywhere is closed, and my mother heads to an urgent care for her persistent cough that is spreading chestward. This Walgreens pharmacy is the only place open, so the Doctor sends the prescription information to them. They make my mother wait, again, for her medicine, for DAYS. This is despite being a 24/7 pharmacy, and completely empty because of the holidays. In short, this is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I wonder sometimes how many people have died as a result of being unable to get their medications on time and with proper and accurate medical advice. Even if they are the only place open, I recommend you to travel to an entirely different town to get help. Do not put your health in these peoples' hands, especially if your condition is critical. They might literally kill you from ineptitude or negligence.

Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but it's not because staff are shirking. People stocking shelves have always been very helpful in locating specific items I need. The shelves are always well stocked and the store is always neat and clean. There is always a smile and greeting upon entering the store. I have had some trouble with the weekly ads not being clear enough about some of the sales. I plan on continuing to shop here.

Told me it was saying I had to call it in myself. I've never had to call it in. My doctor had already called it in and I am supposed to get a refill every month. Julie spoke to me like I was slow and told me that I had a refill called in Apr 12 and still had another two months. I told her I was almost out. No luck. So not only are you losing business I'm going to give him somebody else business you see you see how customer service works you see what you kind of what kind of work you have to put in to have good customer service people that won't cuss you and hang up on you on the phone that's what we need we need a good small town Pharmacy here in Bowling Green.

I am a UT student as well but don't expect the world handed to me on silver platter with a brand new car I didn't earn. Kara and her team do a fantastic job and work their tails off to care for all their customers even when the customers don't appreciate them. I will fill my prescriptions here for as long as I work downtown and go to UTK.
