Is this some sort of poison ivy?" The pharmacist told me no, and within a week I was covered head to toe in a poison ivy rash, getting a steroid shot at the Doctors office. I'm prescribed a topical steroid cream that takes 3 days to show up at this pharmacy. I am unable to sleep, and am driven to the edge of my sanity trying not to scratch at the full body rash. I vow never to go here again. Fast forward to New Years Eve. Everywhere is closed, and my mother heads to an urgent care for her persistent cough that is spreading chestward. This Walgreens pharmacy is the only place open, so the Doctor sends the prescription information to them. They make my mother wait, again, for her medicine, for DAYS. This is despite being a 24/7 pharmacy, and completely empty because of the holidays. In short, this is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I wonder sometimes how many people have died as a result of being unable to get their medications on time and with proper and accurate medical advice. Even if they are the only place open, I recommend you to travel to an entirely different town to get help. Do not put your health in these peoples' hands, especially if your condition is critical. They might literally kill you from ineptitude or negligence.

Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but it's not because staff are shirking. People stocking shelves have always been very helpful in locating specific items I need. There's an amazing deal on toilet paper and I couldn't get anyone at home to go my local Walgreens. I decided to place an order for toilet paper at the Walgreens near my hotel. My boyfriend was not too thrilled at the idea. My order was ready in less than an hour. Walked over to the store and stopped at the photo Dept. Gave them my name. The lady gave me my order and she was friendly too. I was in the store for maybe 2 minutes. I wish my local Walgreens store was well run like this location.

I'm serious about the friendly service. I've been going to this drug store once a month for almost two years because I like taking magic pills that keep me from spawning little Valories. After just two months they not only knew me by name, but what prescription I was picking up every time. I never have to tell them. I never call in my prescription. I just walk in and they know. If only every aspect of life could be like this. I am really terrible at small talk. I'm just so bad at it. I never know what to say, I'm kind of shy (I think I just heard everyone that knows me well laugh collectively), I sometimes say awkward things. The employees here love to make conversation and even know about the lives of some of the other patrons. I chalk this up that everyone in this town knows each other and I'm a new comer. I think they've taken pity on me so they don't really try to small talk me anymore, which I appreciate. They greet me pleasantly and I greet them, they get my prescription, we pleasantly say bye. End of perfect transaction. You never really have to wait that long, but just in case you do you can sit and watch the television or look at the many goods in the store. It's like a tiny department store with clothes, purses, cookware, jewelry, etc. Seriously, stop giving money to the chain pharmacies where the pharmacists have superiority complexes and bad attitudes and sadistically make you wait hours to a day for your medication.
