Telley is the owner; she was very helpful and so gracious. You can tell she really loves the Lord. We even had a moment of fellowship that brought us all to tears. Great book selection on apologetics and in the children's section, as well, with more to come! Definitely hope to be returning very soon, next time we are in Wilson. My sister and I went to the Rocky Mount Hobby Lobby in search of some upholstery fabric. We were…read moreimpressed with the large inventory that they had of this type of fabric. Extra bonus - this week all fabrics were 30% off. Once we had made our fabric selection, we went to the fabric counter and rang the bell for assistance. An employee was there in a few minutes and was very pleasant and professional as he grabbed the roll of upholstery fabric and measured off the yards of fabric we wanted. While filling out the sales ticket, he reviewed the regular and discounted prices with us, plus filled out a separate paper for us with the fabric name and product number. He also gave us his name and told us if we ever needed more of the fabric he would be happy to order it for us if it wasn't in stock. Very impressed with this level of service.

What can I say...Walmart has become the big box competitor to shop at. They use to be the value…read moreleaders. Now Value is just okay. The clothing apparel is up to date but you can't find the right sizes most of the time. It would be epic if they kept the seasonal clothing just a little longer. For example, sporting clothing is out of stock already. No Spring colors or lite styles. Now, it's all summer, bikini season and such. I purchased more from Kmart in Guam than I have at Walmart in a year. That says a lot.

As far as Walmart stores go, this is definitely one of the better locations to shop in…read more The store is always very clean, aisles are easy to navigate, the shelves are well-stocked and they do have some very nice plant displays near the front of the store (if you are a plant-aholic, like me!). Employees are very friendly at the door, they are counting visitors coming and leaving, so on a busier day, you may have to wait in a short line to get in (in the heat, no fun). Only gripe is that they have shut down one entrance, so everyone parks by the only usable entrance and that makes for some far away parking if you go when the store is really busy. I don't mind getting more steps in, but some days, you don't want to be far away from your vehicle... Anyway, good option for seasonal housewares, cute home decor, groceries and more. Even at its' busiest, this location is nowhere near as crazy busy as the WF location.
