Third, he always makes sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Any problems, bring it back and he will make it right. Just like a record store that I grew up with, the records are laid out orderly and easily accessible. No digging thru boxes under a table for hours to find one worthwhile. He covers a lot of genres. I saw plenty of rock, country, R&B, Christian, and today's music. I stopped in one day after coming back from Raleigh, met Phil, who immediately took me on a tour of the store even though he had other customers. This is definitely worth getting off the road to get some good deals to add to your music library.

After paying a $7 admission fee, we were taken around on a personal tour by one of the owners. He took us around the entire museum and showed us each piece one-by-one, sharing tidbits of knowledge and interesting facts. For someone who is interested in geology, this is a good place to go. It is beyond evident owners know what they're talking about and are highly passionate and knowledgeable on the topic. We learned so many new facts that day. There's also a gift shop where you can purchase various items, including beautifully crafted jewelry, many of which are made in-house. You can also sign up for classes - kids and adults - where you get to help cut pretty rocks into pieces produced for jewelry (I forgot all of the technical terms). In addition to rocks and stones, there are also fossils as well as a really unique and cool old glass bottle collection. Check it out next time you're in the area!

The owners are such nice people! The gentleman gave us a guided tour where I got to see a lot of fascinating things. They also have a great gift shop where the lady showed me some of the items. I highly recommend this museum! I am definitely going back when I have more time to see everything.

They also organize other small social events and there's a fun group of people that come. I had the chance to meet the owner and you can tell that he is very passionate about board games ! He told me that the most of the board games that he carries are within the top 50 games in the US ! He mentioned that he's played a lot of them and he will stock all the games in which he believes ! The store is inside a small "shopping center" ( consignment store type of store ) so don't get confused. They sell here a lot of different things ( T-shirts, furniture, art, gardening tools etc ). Each artist has his or her work on display, some framed, some not. You can actually see a work or two in progress as well!! Each style is different and varied, so it takes a few minutes to view each one. There are classes held here and I am sure they would be a lot of fun. I purchased a beautiful water color and can not wait to get it framed and hung on my wall! Located on the corner of Barnes and Tarborro....a must see if you are in the area. And literally half the price of the children's museum we stopped at in Chesterfield (and this place is way better in my opinion). The special exhibit was about bikes and the natural history portion was a weird mix of taxidermy and fake animals. We also checked out the art area which had a good collection by local artists and school children. Very laid back place to visit and stretch your legs, but I'm glad we didn't go out of our way to check it out.
