I have had my taxes done here for 25 years. I always arrange my paperwork as to look at it myself, prior to turning it over to bookkeeping & management. These people here are humans and everyone makes mistakes on occasion. I have never had any trouble period. Mr Elmore continues to improve and bring Waynesboro into the next phase of the city's growth. You would be making a mistake if you didn't bring your financial life to them for review. You cannot expect them to hit the lottery for you. Individuals are responsible for their tax situation. As far as the financial portion of your life goes you would be making a mistake if you did not approach Mr Elmore for advice. And an even larger mistake if you didn't follow his advice. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with this company. I turned in complete information in January for an amended company and personal return, and new year information and met with an agent. He promised to get right on it. Excuse, after excuse for delays. Finally handed off to some one else I never met and finished in April but with mistakes. Then excuse after excuse to meet to talk about it including not returning my calls, setting an appointment and agent not showing up, telling me I didn't have an appointment and would call back with a new time. After several weeks emailed to say they'd start on the next return. When I asked to meet in person first, another 2 week delay then in mid-July a call that they could not do my taxes. I'm now facing finding someone new just a couple months before the extension deadline. I was completely patient through out the process, and turned in everything requested within a day of request. The latest lie was that I would get a call back from the receptionist or principal person by 5 pm. I'm halfway through the second day and nothing! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! read more

The worst place to have your taxes done. Two years in a row our stuff has been messed up. The first time we received a nasty letter in the mail from the IRS, which wasnt our fault. It should've been caught by the places handling our information. Which it wasn't. We called and tried to get them to help us but after we wrote a letter to the IRS they basically said "there's nothing more we can do". Now speed up to this year. We decide to go back but use a different person to help us. This person tells us "oh I wish I had known last year that happened to yall" "I could've helped you and your wife and got the IRS off your back". Well that would've been nice to know when we were trying to get anyone in this place to help us, including the manager and yall quickly gave up and pushed us away. Anyway, this person goes through our stuff this year and after my wife had to find the mistakes from last year herself and relay that information to this person. They made it seem like they heroically solved our issues. No, not hardly. Plus on top of that we get double charged and end up paying double for them doing exactly what Turbo Tax would have done for more than half the cost. Luckily we did get our money back after our bank had to open a dispute with them. By the way my wife and literally only have a pair of W2's and my wife's college information. That's it. Plain and simple they're incompetent and borderline thieves. I will never trust them to handle any of my information again. I wouldn't trust them to stare at a wall. If you're a long time customer of there's with no problems then goody for you but if you're on the fence and considering this place. Trust me, turn away. read more
