Steven was amazingly helpful, very informed, and helped walk me through the best options for auto and renters insurance. He took the time--well over an hour--on a *Sunday* to help me get my coverage lined up and paid for on one easy phone call. Too often customer service is a euphemism for "have you looked at our website?" or "download the app." But not Lauren Morris State Farm and DEFINITELY not Mr. Drumheller. I am completely blown away by the friendly, professional, compassionate, and engaged customer care I received and I cannot recommend this agency highly enough! Oh, and the kicker: my previous insurance agency was easily twice as expensive for *less* coverage--I guess you only pay (through the nose) for what you need there. State Farm gave me better rates AND vastly superior service. Like a good neighbour, absolutely!

I did not have a choice in this, and we landed with Slayton Law, PLC. First impressions were amazing! They seemed very attentive to our case and answering any questions we had. Overall, the remaining bankruptcy period was uneventful. Towards the end, we had a few questions and attempted to reach out. This is when we started experiencing poor communication and service. It took over 3 months to get any response from anyone from the firm. Calls to the main number went to voicemail and we never had anyone pick up. Eventually we did finally receive a call back from the new client onboarding person. They seemed unaware we were existing clients despite the messages. They could not answer any questions we had as they were not actually lawyers. They did assure us we only needed to send the form we received to them signed, which we did. Now, we have received additional forms and had questions about these. The responses are time sensitive and we have been unable to reach any attorneys. The time period has lapsed without any response form the firm. I fear our bankruptcy will not be discharged and we will have to start over from the beginning.

Just closed a property here and in a word: unimpressed. Three specific problems:…read more 1) Low quality work: I found not fewer than three errors on the HUD1 that was offered to me at closing.  A title company's bread and butter is meticulous, error-free work.  Court Square didn't deliver. 2) Unprofessional customer service: The owner of the company sent disparaging comments in email about me to an employee, who then accidentally forwarded it to me. Wow. 3) Poor physical environment: Court Square Title's offices are in a run-down low-end strip mall with poorly functioning AC and a dirty restroom.  I honestly don't think I've been in worse offices for a closing.  Definitely not a confidence-builder. There are several title companies in Charlottesville VA that do quality work in a pleasant environment to justify the high prices they charge. Unfortunately, Court Square Title of Charlottesville is not one of them. IMHO, of course.
