They had rooms filled floor to ceiling with every genre imaginable. It was like a game of book Jenga. Besides the trove of books, thy had so many charming gifts and trinkets that weren't just for bookworms. I bought almost all of my keepsakes from here. Because I'm surrounded by avid readers, I knew they would appreciate my presents. Service was top-notch! The staff really went out of their way to help me locate the books and gifts I was looking for. Plus, who doesn't love a bookstore with resident cats? They were adorable and it was hard not to pick them up and cuddle with them. But I know that they had a job to do and I did not want to interrupt their duties. If I had more time in Savannah, I would have visited E Shaver Books numerous times. But the two times I did, I had a marvelous time.

While the new location is small, it adds to the charm--though it does mean there's no indoor seating. You can enjoy your tea at one of the two outdoor tables, or simply take it to go. The shop is run by two lovely ladies who are not only incredibly knowledgeable about tea but also entertaining and friendly. I make it a point to stop by every month to restock my favorites and explore new blends. Every visit is a fun experience, and I always look forward to returning.

It feels so inviting in there. I love the children's section. All the colors and the wall decor is so fun. I've visited the Starbucks inside the cafe and it's pretty good but the one downside is you can't use the Starbucks app, but I know that's an overall B&N thing and not just this particular site. I do feel that they are typically understaffed and I realize this is a very small cafe but it gets extremely crowded in there and people are not always patient with the staff when they're clearly doing the best they can. My one negative about this B&N is that the black author section is very small and difficult to find. Maybe if it was in the main area more people would gravitate towards that section. Other than that, this is probably one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in a not so great mood and need a pick me up.

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I went through 2 separate rooms and turned a corner and found more rooms with more books! The 2 ladies at the register greeted me as soon as I walked in and one even directed me to the are that had the books I was looking for. The books were reasonable priced.
