BRIDES STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE! Decent work, not the best,…read moreoverpriced and unprofessional. I contracted this service provider for my wedding only a month before my wedding. She agreed to accept my deposit May 7th and balance due May 21st, per her written and signed contract. The package included a trial makeup run, facial, and then the makeup for the wedding day for myself and three bridesmaids. I got my trial run prior to the following. Donyale called me on May 3rd, a whole four (4) days before my deposit was due, to demand payment "now". She wanted to know "what you gone do" because she had other clients eager for service the same day as my wedding and they were willing to pay "today" as she stated. I didn't have the energy to fight her about it, nor was I willing to pay on demand, so she canceled the contract. She had also mentioned billing me for the trial run and the call ended. I was not going to review her, even though she was ugly and unprofessional. But since she decided to call me again at work, and text me, and furthermore doesn't understand how contracts work, I decided to review her. She wants me to pay her $80 for the trial run and stated that "I will see you in court" and " FYI stealing of service is against the law". It is and would be had I canceled (breached) the contract. But she chose to dishonor her signed contract for business she had not received yet. I suspect those subsequent plans fell through and now she has nothing but time and opportunity to attempt to collect on what she is not owed. Her contract mentions nothing about paying for included services rendered if the SERVICE PROVIDER cancels for no acceptable reason. I look forward to being serviced so I can serve her in court. She needs to take a business ethics class and one on contracts too. Reading is fundamental. Brides' lives matter!!

I learned a lot about my own head and hair: coarse hair with babies growing in (yay!) and an oily but overall healthy scalp. For the facial, Them was really vocal about my needs, and addressed my issues as well as my own personal concerns and made her own additions based on what I said. Tiffany and Them are really amazing at what they do. I was so relaxed and came out looking like a new person. They're also both very attentive and great conversation. 200/10, will definitely come again and bring my mom, too!

This is my third time to have a "head spa" experience; but first visit to Euphoria Beaute. Booking the appointment was easy. And their communication follow up is excellent with text reminders. I booked the Gold Package, which is a scalp & head spa treatment plus a vitamin C facial. Everyone I interacted with on the staff was very nice and professional. My technician was Tiffany. She was very friendly and did a great job. . This is an older shop. It's clean, and they've tried to make it very nice with elegant decorations. There are lockers to store your personal belongings. I was a little concerned at first, when I noticed I was sharing my treatment room with two other customers. But everyone was very quiet and I was able to relax -- and practically fell asleep! The session starts with a very thorough scalp analysis. Which was interesting. I was happy to see that my hair and scalp are in very good condition. (I'm told I'm not that's not the case with all customers.) I also appreciated that they did not use this appointment as an opportunity to pressure or upsell me on products or treatments. After more than a month of trying to repair my skin following a facial from this place, I decided I…read moreshould warn others about my experience. I received a facial from Olivia on October 2nd, and shortly afterward, I started to break out very badly. I have never had issues with breakouts before, but my forehead and the right side of my face were significantly affected. I believe I was recommended the wrong type of facial. I booked a Signature Hydra Facial but expressed my concerns to Olivia, stating that I wasn't sure I needed it since my skin wasn't in bad condition. She insisted that I go ahead with it. I typically opt for a custom facial without any issues. Since the facial, I've had to spend money on a dermatologist to help restore my skin to normal. I also tried the exfoliator she recommended, but I discontinued its use because I feel it made my skin worse. When I mentioned the exfoliator to others, they advised against using that type of product on our skin. I suspect Olivia recommended a more expensive facial and a $30 exfoliator simply to earn more money; I can't think of any other reason for her recommendation. In total, I spent about $270 here, and now I'm spending even more at the dermatologist for their inadequate treatment. I have decided that I will not return to this establishment and would recommend that others exercise caution when considering a visit.

This decision was made while we were finishing dinner up at Kim Son Buffet. This was also around 6:30p in the evening. Now what facial place would still be open and could possibly take my mom, my sister, and I on a Sunday evening? Thankfully, Lois from 8 Skin Bar saved the day. She was literally only down the road from where we were eating, so I got her number off the website/Yelp and texted her asking if she could squeeze us in. Luckily, she could! She would have to take my mom first then she would call up another worker to do my sister, then I would go last. But we took it anyway! I totally appreciated her willingness to accommodate us. When we got there, we found ourselves in a plaza surrounded by many other Asian establishments (we later learned we were in Chinatown!). It made me very happy to visit considering a girl from Hawai'i like me moving to Texas was a big culture shock. Being around Asians made me feel at home. We were greeted by Lois and she began right away! She had another worker come in later to do my sisters' facial (her name was Lily) and again we appreciated their kindness and care as they gave my sister a different facial more suited for her skin type. We opted for a $68/hour facial which ended up being the most peaceful and relaxing facial I've had. When it was my turn, I basically melted in my bed as Lois took care of me. During the facial she would tell me what to expect as she placed each product on my face and then she would check in on whether I was okay. When I awoke later, she showed me my face and I swear I went a complete shade lighter! She touched me up really good.
