I called at 9:30am, no answer. And I finally called at 9:45am and someone picked the phone up. The company had totally forgotten my appointment. I did not receive a curtesy call, stating they'd be late. Nothing. When I finally got a hold of someone, I told them this is not the company I want to do business to. What if you set up a cleaning appointment and they just forget about it? We're moving out of an apartment and need the appointments to be held, otherwise, what if they just don't show and I don't get a return on my deposit bc the crew never showed? Anyways, unreliable and inconsiderate. Don't go with them. They're likely to forget about you.

The technician arrived right on time as promised and was very professional in appearance. He measured the spaces we needed cleaned then gave us the cost. The carpet was cleaned in a very reasonable amount of time for the space; we didn't feel that he was too slow or too fast. Our carpet is so incredibly clean now! We are thrilled with the professional and courteous service that we received from Edelweiss. We will definitely hire them again and recommend them highly!

We noticed some mold and that was quickly removed. He came w two young guys and a dehumidifier (which he left on for the week). When I checked back w them after an hour, Klaus had DRILLED 3/4" HOLES ALL ALONG MY CABINET BOTTOM and in the sheetrock (12 total)!!! We NEVER discussed this! He actually did DAMAGE while I was not in the room! I asked him why he did this. He claimed that it was to "air it out" and that it was "easy to repair" by installing a wood strip over the holes! Wow, not what I wanted for sure. Two thing Klaus kept asking me the entire 2 hrs that he was at my house was 1.) is this going to be a homeowner insurance claim, and 2.) he wanted to REMOVE the cabinet, and even suggested coming at the leak from the OUTSIDE of the house! The literally cut through our exterior wall. Months went by as we tried to close the leak (which we did). In the meantime Klaus sends my a bill for $700! For what? Doing damage in 2hrs?! I told him to COMPLETE the job by repairing the damage he did and I would pay him. That was Summer, now it's Winter and Edelweiss has done 0. And the leak was in the floor.

He's very conscientious and good at communicating about what to expect from the job. He uses a greener product with very low odor (I can be sensitive to chemical smells) He's a hard worker, trustworthy and a nice guy. His price was very reasonable! (unlike the others I checked) He and his helper were able to move the two pianos and two couches and a king size bed to the side and work around them, while the rest of the furniture had to be vacated. Worth all the effort on our part, and his working around the rest, made the job doable vs having to hire movers. While not every single stain came out, the remaining ones aren't a bother, because the floor overall is so beautiful, and many of them are no longer there or very noticeable anymore. (If I'd had more time, i'd have hit the worst ones with Stain Solver before he came to do the floors. It was a recent discovery - a product that actually gets oil out of brick. it would never have made the floors look gorgeous as they do now, though - just less stained than they had been.) Be aware that he does not accept credit cards.
