I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

This is a nice pool to hangout at during the summer. They have areas that get tons of sun and…read moreothers that are fully shaded. They have servers that come around to take drink or food orders on occasion. Sometimes you have to flag someone down or go order at the bar because they aren't great about coming around regularly. You can charge things to your room or use your member number if you're a member at TPC. Food is ok here. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get your food after placing an order. Drinks take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to receive after ordering. The basil smash, frozen lemonade and frozen sangria are some of my favs. If you have a food allergy they are able to cater to it. They have gluten free bread available upon request. If you come on a holiday weekend be sure to get your name down on the chair reservation list ASAP or you'll end up waiting hours for a chair to free up. It's a good mix of people here so it's great people watching. Overall a decent pool to hangout at. The pool isn't chilled like the members pool so in the summer the water does get to feeling like bath water. But warm water is better than no water!

Beautiful new hotel in the middle of Design District. It was a cool evening with a bit of a breeze…read morebut not too cold, so I wanted to visit a rooftop bar. My friend thought of this place, so we said why not! When we approached the host at the front and told him we wanted to visit the bar, he told us that we looked like "nice people" and would let us in to the Pool Club, although reservations are usually required. He gave us a wrist band and directed us to the 4th floor. There was a bouncer at the door of the Pool Club checking for wrist bands. Looking back, though, I'm not sure how "exclusive" the club actually is, as more and more people started trickling in as the night went on. 4th floor doesn't seem like much, but you still get a nice view of the Dallas downtown skyline! We got drinks and some calamari. The calamari were okay at best. The drink I got, the galactic, was refreshing, fruity, not too sweet. We walked around a bit. It's quite a large rooftop bar with various seating areas - some around fire pits, some overlooking Design District. I'd say this is a nice place to visit with a group of friends or on a date. Service is friendly, timely, attentive. Staff members were all wearing masks. I would go for the drinks and views, but not for the bar bites (which is from the restaurant in the hotel downstairs).

Last night I went to the Pool Club at the Virgin Hotels Dallas to celebrate my client. Even though…read morethey have a great ambiance...the service was unacceptable and they are highly disorganized. I booked a reservation online for the night cabana for June 11 and I called and emailed to get confirmation of attire, pool access, and food menu for the minimum purchase. I called multiple times on Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8 and left voicemails for the Pool Club as well as emailed the reservation team that was mentioned in the voicemail. Tuesday, June 8 a man from the Pool Club called me back and confirmed that the food menu would be available for my reservation and that the kitchen would close at 10 PM with the last food orders going in at 9:30 PM. He also emailed me and confirmed this in an email to me on the same day and mentioned this over the phone. In my conversation with the hotel they also shared that the pool is off limits at night time stating that we couldn't get in the pool after 9 PM as it's only accessible sun up to sun down. I reserved this cabana to celebrate my client and was hoping to utilize the pool and enjoy food and beverages with our guests. Even though I was informed the pool was off limits my guests and I decided to still keep our reservation as the food menu was confirmed with me. Last night when I arrived for my reservation I placed my food order right away to make sure it went in. Our server Jade kept saying that she was checking the kitchen but after an hour of waiting our food still wasn't there and it was after 9:30 PM. When we spoke to Jade she shared that she put in the ticket but it never printed and then one of the managers said they were going to get our food made. About 15 minutes later that person and Jade came back to the cabana to tell us that they made changes for the summer and their food menu stops at 6:30 PM on Fridays not 9:30 PM. The man pulled up a phone and showed a number that he called stating he told this person that it closes at 6:30 PM. The number was mine and he never said 6:30 PM. He clearly stated the kitchen closes at 10 PM, last orders in at 9:30 PM and he emailed me back the same thing. He blatantly lied even though I have emailed proof of what was stated. Nearly 2 hours later they gave us food (different from our original order as they had 2 different menus) and we were unable to order more. In addition to the food situation, there were guests utilizing the pool though I was told we couldn't beforehand. A night meant to be just for joy and celebration was unfortunately filled with disorganization and dishonesty by the Pool Club, frustration, and hunger for our guests. Based on this service and behavior treated by the staff I don't see me recommending any other guests to the Pool Club.
