Loretta listens to what you want and makes great suggestions to make sure you are truly happy with your hair at the end of the session. She always makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive to when you leave. Last time she fed me tons of delicious cookies and we talked like we were old friends gabbing away while she was doing my hair :) My husband's aunt is a hair stylist herself and is always so critical of other people's work but when I sent her pictures of my hair she says "You gotta keep her! She's fantastic!" I've only seen her twice but both times were a great experiences. Her talent and great customer service is what will keep me returning when I want to change up my hair :)

Over the years, she has cut, colored, highlighted my hair and I've always been pleased. She also does my Brazilian blowouts, she's well versed with the technique and does an amazing job. Not only is she great at what she does, she's a genuinely nice person and I always have great conversations with her while I'm sitting in the chair.

I got box braids this time and they looked Fantastic the first week. Lovvvved them. The owner started the braids and then had two other women finishing them so they were done in under two hours! This is how to not be in the chair all day people! Fast forward 7th day and we have major slippage. Most of the braids are a full inch from the scalp now. I'm pretty sure because she wrapped around hair. You can see in pic. I was sure these would last a month or more but 2 weeks in and I don't think I feel confident that some just won't fall out. I've been doing a braid over the top and big buns so you can't see the slipping, although I would prefer her to be able to wear down. If we do go back we'll probably do cornrows again or crochet. I like that her shop is large and kept clean and she's friendly.

It was not til I came across Amanda that I decided to get them put back on! Being a fellow military spouse, it was like a quadruple bonus for me to go to Amanda. She is very experienced, is so much closer, is a military spouse herself AND the pricing at the salon is so VERY reasonable. Amanda, is so very personable and sweet. She really enjoys what she does and takes SUCH pride in her work. She wants you happy and satisfied even before you walk through the door of the salon for your service. She is amazing and I do not do reviews for just anybody but she most certainly deserves one. You will not be disappointed if you go to her for lash extensions!
