I can't say this LOUD enough....RUN away! My husband went to DR Yale with an emergency,as he wasn't able to get into our regular dentist. She was close to his place of employment. He called her office around 8 am,& was given an 9:45 am appointment. She ex rayed his tooth, told him she wasn't able to save it. She did say " he could visit a specialist but that would cost over 1000 dollars & it would take days to get in." So with him having to go out of town,he let her extract his molar, but he had to PREPAY! He agreed and the DR. Proceeded to give him one shot of Novocain, waited a little while & started the procedure HOWEVER he wasn't numb,so shot #2 was given, still not numb, processed to give a third shot, finally numb. The extraction wasn't easy for him or the DR,he said. He called after this appointment,I asked if she offered any pain meds,as he said " she really had to work to remove the tooth" he said NO. I told him to go back in and ask for something in case of dry socket. He called back and said she was Arguing with him ,that he wouldn't need any & Motrin would be enough. When I got home from work at 4:45 pm, his face was swollen & he was in SO much pain! I called Dr office & explained that he was in a great deal of pain . The receptionist was very nice & said of corse. She called back after a few minutes & stated that a proscription was called in,I thanked her. Our daughter works at the local Pharmacy where it was called into. When she went to pick it up,she was informed by the Pharmacist it can't be filled because a written scrip was necessary & when the pharmacist told the DR that ,she began to argue with the pharmacist! Like I said at the beginning RUN AWAY!!! read more
