I handed the woman my repair alteration before stepping into the fitting room to put the pants on so they could mark them. I fully expected to leave the repair alteration with them for a few days along with the pants, but I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped back out of the fitting room area because the woman handed me back my garment with the stitch repair completed & did not charge me for it. I've also had more complicated alterations done to a wool coat & trust them with my garments. I also appreciate their follow up to make sure that their tailoring was done to my satisfaction after I've taken them home.

I've now had a number of items (dresses, skirt, shirt, jeans) tailored here, and I've gotten items taken in and let out, and all have turned out great. I took it to another tailor who told me they'd have to remove her work for $35 per pant then add elastic. When I brought the pants back to her hoping she would have the courtesy to remove them even if I have to pay a small fee, she refused and said she can't do it, insisting on adding material to the back instead. I also asked whether I could collect the item by Saturday, two days away, and she told me she's too busy and proceeded to pull out a blank calendar and check then tell me it would take a week to get this done. I really did not want to leave a review because she seemed like a sweet person but she should not be in business. Update: I went to two nearby tailors and both offered to remove her work and referred to it as a standard service. I also didn't get a pickup date an entire week out.
