I am not one for leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately my visit last night to Bonefish Grill left a bad taste in my mouth, literally! I visited last night with my wife and daughter just after 5pm. The dining room was mostly empty, but the bar area was much more crowded. After a few minutes wait we were seated at a 4-top table in the middle of the dining room. I love the decor and ambiance of Bonefish Grill and this location met expectations. It was unusually cold in the dining room, though. Servers were wearing jackets! We were underdressed and all wished we had brought a coat! Our server was nice and told us it was his first night on the job. We were excited about the menu, especially the partner selections which my wife and I both ordered. We got Lily's Grouper. My daughter got Ahi Tuna. Our grouper was horrible!!! I am not sure it was grouper, which is an amazing and decadent fish! The fish smelled and tasted quite "fishy" which I have never personally experienced eating my favorite fish many times before. My daughter's tuna was just OK. It was a bit dry and did not seem fresh. We did not complain, we are not complainers. My wife only ate a few bites of her grouper and fed the rest to the dog when we got home! Hopefully this was just a bad night for the restaurant, and it won't stop us from returning. We were seated on November 14, 2025, a busy Friday night. Finally, our server showed up while walking past our table numerous times. No greeting...no acknowledgement. She took our drink order and left our table. Later, she returned to take our dinner order and wine order. Then the food started arriving, first our salads. We were half thru our salads and then our drinks arrived. We both had a half drink left since the timing was entirely off. Our entrees arrived and we asked where our wine was. She told us she couldn't bring the wine due to state law or something. She explained that there was no "two fisted" drinking allowed at Bonefish. In my fifty years of dining, I have never heard of such a "rule". She could have brought our unopened bottle and left it in the wine cooler. Meanwhile, the table was piling up with plates of unwanted food. We ended the meal with an entire table full of dirty dishes and we couldn't order a dessert since there was no place to sit another plate. This server or maybe the management should be training their servers how to serve in an up scale restaurant instead of treating us like we were in a roadside 24-hour truck stop. read more

We have eaten here several times and the food is always good. We ate here for Mother's Day and were happy with 2 of their "specials". My wife got the Sea Bass, which she reported as delicious. I had the combination Butterfish + Scallops. I am rarely choose rice as a side item, but I just went with the flow and took the offering. The rice was very well prepared (not lumpy, nor runny) and was flavored well. Maybe I will re-think my decision for the future. So, as usual, the food was excellent. 5 STARS for the Meal. Even though it was Mother's Day, we got in a little earlier than the "after-church rush" so the restaurant was NOT completely full. In fact, there were at least 4-5 tables/booths open the entire time we ate. I mention this because the service was very slow. The server was courteous. However, we had to flag him down repeatedly. Even when we asked for re-fills of water (or whatever), it took quite a while (10 minutes?) to get the refill, get the check so we could pay, get the paid check to sign, etc. Maybe it was a new server?? Or maybe the manager did not have enough servers? ONLY 2 STARS for service. Anyway, be prepared to have a very good meal, but it might take a little longer than you expect. read more

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch of fried calamari, our appetizer, followed by 3 beautifully plated and equally delicious Bang Bang Tacos. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we experienced excellent service from Georgia, as personable as she was efficient. The spouse ordered a cocktail and said the mixologist made him a perfect drink. I was satisfied with an icy cold Diet Coke that yet another server replenished as soon as I took the final sip of my first glass. I've been hankering for some fish tacos so we stopped by in the early afternoon for a late lunch. Not a lot of people inside so our server, Georgia, was extremely attentive. We had some questions about some menu items and what times were set for the lunchtime menu. Sad to say, this location does not have a special lunchtime menu. I ordered a Whiskey Sour and for our meal, we each had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos with fries and an order of Fried Calamari with Asian sauce. The drinks and calamari arrived within 5 minutes of ordering them. The pieced were nicely breaded, hot and crispy. The Asian sauce was yummy and they were every bit as good as the fried calamari served in some of the ethnic San Francisco restaurants in Chinatown. Our tacos arrived about ten minutes later and they were divine. There were three tacos on flour tortillas, piled high with lettuce, green onions and 5 good-sized shrimp per taco, battered, fried and drizzled with bang-bang sauce. Large restaurant located in an upscale strip mall that strikes a good balance between upscale and casual. (Paper table clothes with cloth napkins). We had a friendly, chatty waiter who brought complimentary bread, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed apple salad with chicken and bourbon salmon with veggies. This was a very disappointing meal. We were coming here for our anniversary. Our table was reserved for 7:30 pm so plenty of time before they closed. We were one of only about 4 tables I. The entires restaurant you would have thought they were close it was so dead. It's getting two starts because the food tasted good. That it , the service was crappy, felt like we were Bri g rushed by them brining the bill in the middle of dinner. So I put my card in the leather folder with the bill. Then they brought what they were calling a complementary dessert for our anniversary . It hit the table so hard the sauce actually splashed on my husband's shirt. Then the server walked away again. I had to call her back to ask her what the topping was on the brownie because I could not eat nuts. And I have a severe peanut allergy. She said well they are macadamia nut your fine. Well no I'm allergic to that to. And there was so many little nut pieces it wasn't like I could just take some off . They were floating in the sauce. We ignored the dessert. We waited a long time for her to come back. When she did she had our bill ready, so we paid after ordering a piece of cake. Have never been to Bonefish Grill. Decided to grab dinner in Turkey Creek and try it out two weeks ago. I chose from their Summer Specials menu. Perhaps this was the problem....and they havent learned it yet?? First the server indicated that they were out of two of the summer drink specials, one being a blueberry lemon drop. Cant remember the other. I chose a Mermaid something. Server told me it was sweet. It was ok, nothing to write home about. And it wasnt sweet nor sour, pretty in between. Then I ordered a cup of Corn Chowder With Lump Crab. The soup was thinner than I would expect of a chowder but main issue, the diced potatoes were hard. Like they didnt cook it enough. Then I ordered a summer special, a halibut over jasmine rice with sauteed spinach, miso glaze and orange zest on the fish, and miso glaze on the plate. The photo of that dish online looked great. What I received was a completely different thing. The halibut arrived with no miso, no citrus zest. The scoop of rice was so small it was not noticeable under the fish. No miso glaze was on the plate either. But the topper was that the spinach was ice cold. Like cooked, portioned, refrigerated, and then placed on the plate without reheating. I asked the server if the spinach was supposed to be ice cold and she said "I don't know, I've never tried that dish." I didn't complain. I just ate the halibut and tiny rice which was a very plain dinner. Then I asked about dessert. She recommended a coconut creme pie that was also on the summer specials menu and said it came with a warm Myers Rum sauce. My coconut custard pie had easily been put in the oven. It was very HOT custard. Every part of the pie was hot, which was weird as I've never eaten a hot custard pie before. Either they had just baked it or I don't know, zapped it in the microwave if they dont bake it? The rum sauce being warm could not have heated the pie all the way thru to that temperature. I texted a friend who cooks at the Bonefish in Durham, NC and he said my meal wasn't cooked properly. No manager asked how things were. I didnt complain because honestly I just wanted to leave, it was slow in there, no excuses for bad yet pricey food. Maybe they are short staffed. Maybe training new people. But then I look online and see so many other people saying not to eat at the Turtle Creek Bonefish. Apparently corporate doesnt care because they arent doing anything to improve. Choose elsewhere. My husband and I went here recently for a spontaneous date night. I am such a sucker for some bang bang shrimp and any type of seafood dip. This did not disappoint. By the time we finished our appetizers, we really were too full for our entrees, but they made for an awesome lunch for the next day! The only reason for 4 stars is that they were out of the ingredients to make their seasonally advertised cocktail, and the one they suggested instead tasted like straight syrup and was pretty disappointing. Bonefish has a new menu. The new items are pretty good but old standbys like the bang bang shrimp remain. They are so good! The new Tuna Poke Bowl took the place of the Spicy Tuna bowl. Delicious fresh fish and amazing seasonal menus. Bonefish Grill is my family's go to place for seafood. We started ordering to-go during Covid and now have been able to eat there in person too. Great upscale feeling restaurant, clean and bright decor. They give you bread and an oil/garlic dipping sauce to start. It's delicious, but don't fill up. My kids love it and aren't treated like second class citizens. And my boys are adventurous - they love the bang bang shrimp and calamari the most. I usually order the salmon and my husband has had everything from the tacos to the various pasta dishes. The have a great wine and cocktail menu too. Their bartender is fantastic. And if you have room, try the desserts! Mmm read more

I'm weary of boring places. This is another one of those basic restaurants that reminds me of Red Lobster in fancier furnishings. The bang bang shrimp are just shrimp coated in a siracha/mayo sauce. The Brussels sprouts must be cooked by someone who is afraid of them- they were limp and mushy and flavorless. The drinks are pretending to be cocktails so they impress palates that have never actually had a good cocktail. And don't look up at the decor if you're disgusted by years of greasy dust piling up everywhere. I was tempted to take my napkin and clean house for them. read more

My wife and I have always been fans of Bonefish Grill, and we find consistently excellent service and food quality at every one we visit. This location was no different. We came in on Happy Hour for Margaritas and tacos. We each had the house Margarita and shared the Bang-Bang Shrimp tacos. Service was outstanding, with both bartenders checking on us regularly. The bang-bang shrimp is uniquely delicious at Bone Fish Grill. The Margaritas were tart, like we prefer, and definitely had a sufficient amount of tequila! Everything went smoothly.
