Could have been a lot better. Very disappointing. It started out when they were opening the door to allow customers in. The door wasn't opened properly and for a brief time my wife was stuck in the revolving door. Not funny at all. We ordered drinks and brunch. Our bloody Mary's arrived without bacon that always comes in the glass along with olives. I asked the waitress about it. Her answer, it probably wasn't read. They why give it to me? The price wasn't reduced accordingly. My crab frittata arrived, over done. I had to scrap it from the sides. It was horrible. so dry and tasteless. When my coffee was brought to m, I added the cream that accompanied it. Out of the cream came lumps of cream. when I stirred the coffee the cram separated. Now there was a layer of oil on top of the coffee. The excuse I was given was its cream. The only time the waitress returned was to ask us if we wanted the check. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict. When they arrived they were warm. Not hot but warm. Within ten minutes they were cold. Because the temperature in the restaurant was cold. Certainly not a good experience. Would I go back. Certainly not! This is not my first bad experience at Bonefish Grill. Next time I want breakfast or brunch, I'll go local to a mom and pops place. Breakfast at McDonald's is actually better and it wouldn't cost me $70.00. By the way if you do go there to eat and order a Bloody Mary, make sure they add all the ingredients. Bonefish Grill is an amazing spot for everything. I have celebrated my birthday at Bonefish multiple years. I love their happy hour specials and cocktails. They offer occasional​ specials throughout the week such as Martini Mondays which has martinis starting at $6. There is Hooked on Tuesday which is their seafood specials. On Wednesday, there is Bang Wednesday for $6 Bang Bang Shrimp. I always stick to the Bang Bang Shrimp and Lily's Chicken. But, their burger, salads, fish, and chips are all lovely​. Staff went out of their way to make sure our meal was perfect. Brianna was a marvelous waitress, caring about her customers. Wendy on the management staff was fantastic. My husband and I usually share dishes...getting to taste more of their delights. I was hungry, and it was late... About 10:30 pm and thankfully their kitchen is open until 11:30. I ordered the ceviche and the wagyu beef potstickers for appetizer. The flavor of the ceviche was good, but I did have some issues. Now, granted, I've never HAD ceviche before, but I watch the food network all the time. And I recall the chefs tearing into one masterchef contestant for their ceviche being too chunky. It's supposed to be finely diced. Not so with the ceviche at Bonefish Grill. Their ceviche features shrimp, scallops, and fish. The shrimp were whole, and also the scallops. But the scallops were rather tiny anyway, so it sort of made a contrast to the huge chunks of fish. All the veggies and dressing were in the bottom of the cup, I would have liked it mixed a bit better. And the kicker? They served it with tortilla chips. If it had been finely chopped like ceviche is supposed to be, I could see eating it with a chip. But as large as the chunks of seafood were, eating it with a chip was impractical. I asked my waiter about the lack of dicing and he told me that corporate decided to serve the ceviche as large chunks. If that's the case than I would suggest leaving the chips off entirely. The wagyu beef potstickers were yummy. Tender, flavorful, and a nice portion. They had a merlot marinated steak on special, so I had that with a side of crimini mushroom ravioli. The steak was wonderful . Tender and with a spot on cook. It was served with what I was told was summer succotash. In the south that means yellow corn and Lima beans. And that's what I was expecting . That's not what I got. After mentioning that it tasted like the Lima beans were underdone, my waiter informed me that their succotash was made of corn and edamame. A few more bites and the flavor was ok, but I still didn't care for the texture of soft corn and firm edamame. The mushroom ravioli were served swimming in sage butter. I really wish they would have said that, I would have asked them to leave the sauce off. I don't much care for sage, especially fresh sage, and the clarified butter soaked into the pasta and to me made it taste oily. I ended up asking for napkins and dried the ravioli off. The lingering butter and sage still almost overwhelmed any mushroom flavor. How disappointing . I didn't stay for dessert. I have to say that I would order the ceviche again, because the flavor was good, but I still look forward to trying the real thing someday. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy! read more

My partner and I can in to dine for a romantic dinner, upon arrival there was a Christmas advent calendar at the door with a flyer that prompted us to open for a surprise. Inside was a 15% off coupon. When I presented this to the Host, they informed me that it was a legitimate coupon. The host then handed our server our menus to seat us, with the reply from the server "What section, I just got here"? After being sat as two top at table for six, our server began to take our order which went fine. After taking our order he became less attentive to the table with my salad coming out minutes before with my main course. Overall the food was good but the service the server gave was lackluster. When it came time to pay the server acted as if he had not known about the coupon. Although he was standing there while I presented it to the host. He then went to "check with the manager" and handed us a different coupon that states 15% off "entire purchase" for dinner. When handed this the server told us that the coupon was "for our next purchase" not the current meal we were having, which is listed nowhere on the coupon (See attachment). This frustrated me as if this was the case it should have been explained when we arrived at the restaurant and asked about the coupon. We are thankful for the coupon but feel slighted by the restaurants lack of clarity on this promotion. If the coupon says 15% off "Your entire purchase" it should be valid for the meal we ate, if it applied towards the next purchase then it should state that on the coupon (See attachment). read more

I haven't been to Bonefish Grill in 13 years and I must say the food was still pretty good. I had the Cioppino which was really good and tasty. Hubby had the steak and crab cake w/garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed his meal except for the broccoli it had no flavor. His steak was good, but could have used a little more seasoning. My daughter has the fish strips which she didn't really like and her fries were cold, I asked if she wanted me to get her more fries but she said no. I thought the fish tasted pretty good. So my journey started yesterday, nine hours later I'm in North Carolina for one of my family members of whom is graduating from Boot Camp in the army. So first I just want to tell her congratulations and I am so proud of her. And for those of you who follow my yelping first things first. Customer service! So my server, Sara, was phenomenal. Her service from the time that we sat down at our table until the time that we got ready to leave what's most personable and professional. She made exceptions for one of my family members that was with her to accommodate his needs for that of what he needed to eat and that to me was absolutely over and above. Now for the food. It was so good! Was it because I was hungry, no I enjoyed the smoked salmon with Melody salsa along with steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes . The fish was moist, the garlic potatoes were rich and not too stiff, and the broccoli with a dipping sauce to go with it which was just butter, correction seasoned butter, was oh so good. Everything came out hot and was most delicious. So something I normally don't do but this time I absolutely have to. I have to give a big shout out to the bartender. He was so good, his hospitality was so on point. Not only did he make a specialty drink that we gave him the recipe for but he brought it over to our table. My overall experience was wonderful. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I had a 1:00 reservation and wasn't seated until 1:40! That is RIDICULOUS! If you're doing reservations, you should have the table ready for the people who made the reservation at the time it was made. People who came to the restaurant after us were seated before us. You should also be doing only reservations and not allowing people who just walk in to get seated before those who have reservations. The hostess was not accommodating and extremely rude. Went back in to get them. Came out and said that she needed us to wait till the "big" boss in the back came out. We said that we would not wait outside [it's very cold]. I've been going to this Bonefish Grill for about 2 years now. The whole time, Scott and Terrel been the owners and run the place very well. The atmosphere is great for intimate conversations. The music isn't too loud and seating is comfortable. Bonefish is a chain that doesn't feel like a chain. Their food is consistently cooked and you can always expect great services. I like everything on the menu (yes, I've eaten everything on the menu). Their wines are OK for a chain. I'm a red wine fan. They have specials always to mix things up. And, if you go during the winter season, and they have chocolate creme brulee, get it. It is to die for. The flourless brownie is great. The key lime pie is nice. And, the Jamacian coconut pie is heaven. The barstaff is awesome. I often just eat at the bar and end up having a nice conversation with the bartenders. If you want to get a quick, nice meal with great atmosphere and reasonable service, this is the place to come. It's a great place to take first dates too. read more

We had a reservation for six on Christmas Eve and was very disappointed. We were not seated until 50 minutes after our reservation. We were told it was because people were just sitting. The reason was because food was not coming out of the kitchen! The table next to us had been waiting for 11/2 hours for their orders! Our table just ordered appetizers...all were brought out at different times and most were cold. Managers and hostesses were trying to bus tables and waiters and waitresses were trying their best to keep everyone happy. Bottom line....if you are understaffed do not open to the public. This past weekend was my first time eating here. I had heard a lot about it but never went. The food was great. I am not a fish eater but I love other types of sea food. We started the night off with the calamari and a cocktail. Smaller pieces would have been better for me but it was cooked perfectly and was lightly seasoned. After a long but fun day of exploring the zoo, we headed here at the suggestion of one of our party. Usually I'm loathe to review chains (restaurant or otherwise) because I figure they don't need the extra notoriety. However, for Bonefish Grill (henceforth, BFG - both for the Roald Dahl and Doom shout outs, of course) I'll make an exception. We arrived on the early side of dinner so were seated immediately. I knew our server was going to be good when she brought a set of crayons and a kids menu on her first pass for the toddler of the group (and was genuinely interested in her new stuffed zebra). She maintained an equally high standard for the rest of our meal, keeping our drinks filled up and checking in when needed. Speaking of drinks, special mention for their iced, unsweet tea. So good by itself with actual tea flavor, you might not need to add sugar (and yes, I said unsweet - being a non-native southerner, I just can't rock the southern sweet tea. It's usually way too sweet for me...like onset diabetes sweet). Having burned a fair amount of calories hiking around the zoo and gardens, we ordered two appetizers, the bang bang shrimp and the calamari. Both worth it. Order them. Trust me. The supplied ciabatta bread and olive oil were good too. I ordered the Imperial Longfin as my entrée. Here's why (quoting from the menu): "pan-seared, baked and stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crab meat and lemon caper butter"...it's fish stuffed with THREE OTHER KINDS of tasty sea protein. THREE. Plus butter. I did hold back on the sides though and went with two veggie options, the house zucchini special and sliced tomato with balsamic vinegar, feta, and basil. All our entrées arrived in short order and were excellent. So overall, worth the trip if you're feeling like some seafood. Reasonably priced considering the quality and service. Easily would be part of my restaurant rotation if I had one in my nabe. read more

I ordered a fish tacos and my gf ordered a grilled Mahi Mahi....keep in mind we are both hungry and you know if we are hungry everything taste good. Surprising for a top notch restaurant with great drinks, tasty food, and fantastic service in an area that does not have too many options outside of fast food joints. Granted it is a chain, but still... I was in Columbia on business and stopped in for dinner on a recent night. I timed it right and caught the end of Happy Hour and got in on the perfectly crafted 1/2 price martinis (bonus coming from Chicago where there is no such thing) with bleu cheese olives, yum! From there I moved on to beer and the bartenders were very knowledgeable about the different styles of beer they offered and what would complement my order. I settled on a Belgian Style Ale brewed in the region, and it was the perfect choice with my grilled salmon sandwich.
