I've been going to Evolution Printing for five years now. They are more of a partner than a vendor…read more I live in Manassas and manage two sizable events in Washington, DC every year. Evolution prints all of our signage (including retractables) and collateral materials, and they always look great! And they have pointed out mistakes prior to printing several times which saved us money. And they are always there for us. Last week was our conference. Evo printed out Avery name tags which looked great. But I realized the day before when I went to stuff them that the generic plastic name tag holders I bought were tight -- too small for the name tags to fit into. I called Evo and although it was late in the day, they had me drop off the name tags so they could trim them down for me ever so slightly and neatly with a professional machine cutter for a clean finish. It was a big save.

Searched on google and saw it was only $10 here (shipping was $13 but still managed to save 50%). Wasn't much info/reviews on them so I was hesitant. I was hoping that I found a local competent company with parts for my printer. I found parts but…read morethe competence was lacking. The OEM transfer belt was defective, no fault of theirs I assume, but refusal to admit there is a problem with it after overwhelming evidence to the contrary including trying another part they recommended (which was mislabeled and wrong the first time) and paying $200 for technician plus hours of my own time did not feel like competence on this end. I finally solved the problem by removing the belt from the "new" one they sent and putting it on my transfer unit. Admittedly, a new unit coming with a broken roller retainer is not a standard occurrence, but stuff happens.

They listened to my needs and designed a first class board for me that I have been using for the past year and a half.
