Fast forward to this year: In October - November 2024 maintenance workers came and ripped out part of my ceiling above my window to try and see where this leak was coming from exactly. While I was happy to see this moving in the right direction, they never patched it back up because they were "waiting for the wood to dry"... well it's December now and the rain is gonna keep coming! Soooo I just have this hole in my ceiling. At the same time, I finally saw some slight progress being made of a windows person coming to take measurements for new windows. But as of the beginning of December 2024, the owner of the building decided to change management groups. So now, I'm still left with no real solution. Now it's like both management groups are trying to kick a ball back and forth on whose responsibility it is to finish the job. I don't care, I just want it done once and for all!!! The staff have been quick to respond to my needs and requests, which have ranged from replacing the toilet seat to installing a fluorescent bulb. I'll have to update after I move out to see what becomes of my deposit, but for now, Loyal Property Management is a landlord I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I am not sure how large Loyal Realty is, but I feel like they care about their customers and renters like a small company. The website states Loyal Realty can help you buy, sell, or lease a home, so they do more than just rentals. The office is way north Ballard in Loyal Heights. Not to mention a person had passed away with water running in the unit next to her and caused water damage to her lower restroom which the previous owning group did not bother to replace when asked so we got charged $800 for that as well.
