( with Emily in June) For the one row move up I was quoted $150 which is more than I paid for in big city life of seattle but I figured I would give it a shot. NORMAL routine for a move up. 1. Remove the row 2. Wash the clients hair and the extensions 2. Separate the wefts 3. Reinstall one at a time in a continuous process of course 4. Dry the Client's hair 5. Style. What I received? The row removed and reinstalled poorly. When I asked if she was going to wash my hair or separate the wefts she said it wasn't necessary . I don't know if this is Standard protocol there or if she was just being lazy. I've never received this poor of service for a move up. When I finally went to a different salon to have it moved up, her service was not only top-notch but she pointed out that my move up was not even done properly. Which I kind of had a feeling because the way that the row started to slip in certain areas and the corners started to lift. Not sure if this was an individual stylist issue or that is their protocol. But I'm so glad I found someone who did it right elsewhere! Lastly, I had a friend who went in for a money piece coloring on a short Bob and paid $75! That seems astronomical but maybe they just have a minimum. ‍
