Bomboloni Café in Jensen Beach is truly a hidden gem. This small, quaint café has a charming European flair and came highly recommended by a family member who happily makes the drive up from Jupiter Beach just for the food, service, and ambiance--and now we understand why. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. The owner, Giovanni, is a gracious and endearing host who pays attention to every detail. He made us feel genuinely welcomed, like we were family rather than dining out. From the most flavorful cold brew coffee to the heavenly light Italian pastries, every item we tried was exceptional. The avocado egg bowl was vibrant and full of flavor, the fresh focaccia paired beautifully with high-quality EVOO and balsamic reduction, and the dark cherry cheesecake was the perfect decadent finish. We were looking for a place to have breakfast, and I remembered that some time ago I had saved this spot on my "want to go" list. Well... I'm glad I did. The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. Took my husband for late lunch. Very nice staff! The had the scrambled egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a beautiful croissant, he enjoyed. I had the Keto quiche and salad; two quiches the salad was a spinach, good but way bigger than I thought. The chicken paprikkesh sample was good, very tender. In a word... QUALITY. Having been here before, I knew that I was going to like what I bought, but being served by the owner, he was very friendly, passionate and Italian. Giovanni ( who I believe is the owner) is extremely rude. Unless you are "regular" he has a horrible attitude. Acts like he's doing you a favor by serving you. Completely out of touch with customer service. We have few times and it was bad both times, other tables experienced it as well. The food is however amazing, which makes the decision not to return so hard. read more

The hospitality is spectacular. If you want to experience walking into a welcoming feel of goodness; You found your place. Growing up around my Italian family you definitely brings back that. Honestly, you don't get the same experience nowadays with the majority of restaurants due to the lack of caring or just money hungry. I have technically never sat down and had a meal here. Every time has just been takeout. The owner is so sweet and has given me coffee or an OJ while I wait for my food. I feel like sometimes a pain in the butt because I wanna add two separate sandwiches and turn it into one because I love loading up my sandwiches with multiple items. I feel like any mozzarella tomato sandwich should always have some sort of protein and prosciutto is my main go to. I have also ordered some amazing pastries that never disappointed. And the last two times I have ordered their lemon chicken soup. It's pretty good not gonna lie. I am always up for trying new items which makes it a lot easier if I can just bring it on the go. This restaurant is located in a shopping center, which is so happens to be next to one of my favorite nail salons. The inside has plenty of seating and even a bar top. The owner was an extremely nice man gave me my cappuccino for free cause it was our first time my wife got food too cannot find pictures anywhere all in all. It was really good. If you are in the area you have to try Bombonloni Bakery! Giovanni's cappuccino and pastries are the best! I love to find hidden gems with friendly owners that just perfect their craft. We went two days in a row so we could sample some of the other pasties and they all were delicious. So fresh and not overly sweet. We also tried the Coppa (Giovanni's favorite) and he joked around saying, "careful you are going to get addicted". He wasn't wrong that sandwich was also very good! It has slow roasted juicy pork shoulder steak, roasted grilled peppers, mustard-balsamic dressing and pickles on focaccia bread. What a great, serendipitous find! We had an amazing dinner - lemon chicken, and the sauce was to die for! We weren't even sure the restaurant was open, but Giovanni told us to come in, showed us to a table, helped us decide what to eat and which wine to drink... They only sell wine by the glass, so I didn't know what to expect but the wine was superb! Cute little place, we felt very comfortable, and Giovanni was very attentive. This is our go to cafe whenever we are in Jensen. This place is awesome and the food is delicious. It is a little European hidden gem and would recommend to anyone. The owner is great and gives great service. I miss the caramel Bombolonis they used to make but honestly every dessert and pastry here is great. They have a great bakery selection. Our favorite here is the Pork Belly sandwich on a croissant and the Caprese Sandwich as well. The gourmet cappuccino coffee with vanilla is delicious!! You would never in a zillion years guess that a place tucked away in a nondescript little strip mall would have such legit European pastries and Italian espresso, but Bomboloni is the real deal! Huge thanks to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, who are locals, for treating us to breakfast here while we were in town visiting. Part bakery, part cafe, and part coffee shop, this is a great place that has something for everyone. From sweets, savories, sandwiches, salads, and coffee, the menu is extensive yet still retains a perfect balance of simplicity. Want a salad at 9:30 am? No problem! Want a bacon stuffed croissant with eggs? They have that, too. Prices seem fair considering the quality. I opted for a cappuccino and a cinnamon pastry, and both were excellent. The espresso is legit -- like real Italian style -- and I probably could've had at least two or three in one sitting! The proprietor was speaking Italian, so that tells you all you need to know. This is a place that is serious about their espresso, and it shows. Order it, you won't be disappointed. My cinnamon pastry was MASSIVELY HUGE, like easy to share with one or even two people. Delicate but hearty, I loved the fresh and slightly spicy cinnamon flavor. It was buttery and in the classic European / Italian style, not all all sweet (which I like). I took a bite and it had been warmed -- I was impressed with the little touches like that, which shows care from the kitchen staff. The bakery case was a thing of beauty, and I wanted just about everything on offer in there, LOL. The croissants looked particularly decadent (and delicate), and they had some rare European pastries on offer (like Hungarian bread pudding) that I've never seen for sale anywhere in the U.S. If you're looking for something special, give this place a try. The interior was plain but comfortable, and I could see this being a great spot for regulars who live in the area. Service was fast and friendly, and I really felt like a valued customer. After eating there a few weeks ago and experiencing an unbelievable dinner, I had to go back to see if a second time would be close to my initial experience. What a shock ! I thought I died and went to Italian food heaven. It's hard to capture tonight's evening's experience. I'LL try. We started with an Italian Pinot Grigio, Kupelwieser from the Alto Adige region where Giovani , the owner is from to pair with a Bronzini app. Incredible. Next we moved on to the most impressive second course. A seafood platter with huge Italian prawns that puts lobster to shame. They were accompanied by an octopus salad and stuffed mussels. Have you ever had stuffed mussels? A first for me. Our main course was an gnocchi platter and a filet platter in a mushroom sauce. My description doesn't adequately convey the uniqueness of our dinner. I don't recall ever having such a unique dining experience. Chef Nico is a food magician. My biggest concern is that too many people will discover this amazing secret and it will be impossible to get in. It's so good, I would wait in line to get in. read more

We initially came to get tiramisu for our friend's birthday. Several people on social media said it as some of the best around. It was tasty with a strong flavor (in a good way). I had hoped to get one of the stuffed donuts I saw on from other Yelpers, but all they had was a zeppola, so we tried it. It was okay, but had a slight lemon flavor which is just something I personally don't like, but my husband did. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant and really enjoyed that, especially with the added touch of arugula and pickle on it. We look forward to trying more of their savory food next time. When I eat at Bomboloni's there is one thing that comes to mind and that's Cena con la famiglia. My husband and I love Giovanni and Nicco (owners, chefs, bakers, servers and more) Upon arrival there is a small outdoor seating area which reminds me of small cafes in Italy (or as much as it can be in a shopping plaza in Jensen Beach). The restaurant isn't huge in the inside, there is about 10-12 tables (but there is word about expansion ). You can make online reservations so that is a plus. Please excuse the lack of photos as I have been here several times and totally forget to take photographs. So let's talk about food..... and I may get some hate from people but there is a difference between "American" Italian food and authentic Italian food. I have spoken with Nicco and his passion is food. He is definitely just beginning to unleash his culinary talents. We have tried several dishes and no of them disappoint. I am not expert by any means but having family members who live in Italy have owned restaurants in Italy and have been to and ate at some pretty amazing places while there... I can say the sauce is delicious and pretty comparable. Some may call it bland and I call it clean and fresh (no acid reflux for me on this one). Their seafood dishes made perfectly and one of the best octopus we have had (not chewy at all). The lasagna was delicious and so filling. A lot of "Italian" restaurants offer an eggplant or chicken parm dish and you usually can't tell the difference because it all tastes the same. The dishes are drowned in a very acidic marinara sauce and mounds of store bought shredded cheese NOT here. I can taste the eggplant in every bite. You can taste all the fresh herbs used too. Pasta was cooked aldente. Their Italian wine and beer selection is glorious. Giovanni will pair it with what you are eating and it's splendid every time. The coffee selection is great too (whether it's a breakfast cappuccino or an after dinner espresso). That brings me to desserts and bakery. The Basque cheesecake is light, creamy, and it's caramelized exterior is to perfection. Another must try is the tiramisu- you have options of a small taster or a bigger plated dessert. The taster is just enough to get all the flavor you need. My go to for breakfast or snack is the Saccottini al cioccolato (crossaint with chocolate) or the Cornetto alla Mandorla (almond crossaint). Desserts and baked goods are all made in house with love. The next time you are looking for THAT Italian place, don't pass up the opportunity to eat and experience Bomboloni's (this place is more than it's donut name). Ciao. read more

Well, I was absolutely not expecting what we got today! Moved here about 15 months ago from the Midwest. Started out in Seattle Washington so yeah I'm a little bit of a coffee snob. Lol to say I still haven't really found a great cuppa coffee here in Port St. Lucie. Have tried a few places and yeah, they've been OK but nothing top-notch yet. This place definitely had the quality of service, the ambience was Great like a little café in Europe and the gentleman who introduced me to his espresso and good food was pretty great too. He had that little touch of condescending yet high class and exquisite all the same time. Lol anyway you gotta go try it. It's totally worth it. I added a couple pictures so you know, what we had, but the pastry was excellent and the avocado egg breakfast salad was amazing as well. I even bought some beans which he sounded like he didn't really want to sell me but somehow I talked him into it. Will be back. I look forward to taking my girls in there, it was a great experience. If you want high end bakery dining then look no further and come here especially early. Their pastries and bakery items. They don't compare to anything else in this area. If you want real coffee as well, they have that. You can taste the difference that they pour a lot of love into their foods and a lot of hard work is done, that much I can tell.
