    Jeera fried rice

3.5 stars. This is a typical north Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls. Their food is authentically desi as compared to what I've had in Rochester, NY. The ambiance is simple, nothing too fancy. Parking is either in the parking lots of the State Park or paid parking along the street. The people running and serving at the restaurant are also authentically desi. We didn't know that it was just a buffet restaurant when we came here for dinner. My parents didn't want to do the buffet so we decided to go elsewhere, but they accommodated us by giving us a limited ala carte menu (no appetizers or south Indian food). The only restaurants that do this are back home in India. Having said that, the service itself was almost non-existent. They seem to not want to work. Telling people to do the buffet allows them to relax and talk. Doing ala carte means taking an order and actual service. Well, we didn't get much of it anyhow. We were waiting for a good 10 mins before water was brought. We didn't get takeaway boxes for a while. My brother ended up going to the counter to pay because nobody bothered to bring us the check. We ordered the mixed vegetable, saag paneer and kadhai chicken with the jeera fried rice (you order rice separately as the curries don't come with rice), butter roti, butter naan, and garlic naan. The portions were decent. The food itself was delicious with the exception of oil. Just like a typical Indian restaurant, there was way too much oil. The saag had less oil than the others, so that was our favorite. The garlic naan didn't have enough garlic on it, and the pieces were pretty small. We had some left over, so we took it home. Having looked at the buffet option vs ala carte, I would go with the buffet next time because they had more options (paneer, mixed veg, chicken, lamb, naans, rice, dessert, etc). It costs $20 per person but going ala carte also ends up costing the same or more. Overall, this was a fine experience. If I had to describe it in a sentence, if you are a desi coming to this restaurant, expect the service and food exactly as you would back home.

I'm visiting a friend in Niagra Falls - it's my first time here - and I live in Beverly Hills where there are amazing restaurants. I like very high quality food. This authentic Indian Restaurant didn't disappoint. I arrived in the early afternoon on a Saturday - and they had the buffet available so I didn't look at the menu. I ordered a coke, a tea (it's served dark with milk like I used to drink in England), and helped myself to the buffet. The assortments of rices, curries, side dishes, appetizers and desserts were impressive. I picked a samosa, butter chicken, goat stew and chicken biryani with cucumbers and yogurt side dishes. For dessert I took the sweet rice and pastry ball with another tea. They brought buttered naan bread to my table (included) and the servers were very sweet and professional. They play old people American elevator music and the decor is a little tired looking - but it's amazing value for money. The food and service are 5 stars.

The food is really tasty and the service is amazing. Very traditional and laid back environment. Need to open one in Nashville!

Soul satisfying food must say. After the visit of Niagara falls we all were very tired and were tempted for some delicious Indian food and luckily we found the best one. They had varieties of food to offer which we were not able to fit in our plate. Each food tasted yum, heavenly taste. It was a buffet price $22 per person. It was worth of every bite. Must visit when in Niagara, New York.

Took the buffet option. Food was bad. Not worth the price we paid. Flies everywhere. Service is bad. Have to pay even for water.

It's been 3 decades since visiting Niagara Falls. Insomnia hit the morning of our trip and I researched for hours on what to do at the Canadian side. Easy answer, wonder pass and hit all the spots as the thunderstorm was in and out throughout the day. We exhausted all our efforts and ended the day at 7pm. WAZ NEXT??? Dinner time!! Found Inchin's and went directly to it! It's a smell ish shop compared to other inchin's bamboo gardens we have been to throughout California but the restaurant interior was well decorated and waiter ready to please! We are no amateurs when it came to indochinese food as I'm of Chinese descent and my wife and her parents of Indian descent. All of us fresh of the boat 25-30 years ago! This Inchin's might be small but the food and hospitality speaks volumes! Every single dish was spot on and the food came quick. Granted we were the only table on a terrible stormy night midway through severe flood watch, the staff treated us with positivity and enthusiasm. My vegetarian side of the family had the pani puri in shot glasses (phuchka) classic Hakka noodles, kadai paneer, veg biriyani with side of paneer paratha and tandoori rotli. I also enjoy vegetarian food but I couldn't resist getting some wings. The portions are appropriate if not slightly excessive for us Americanized FOBs, and we ordered accordingly as to not have a single left over! Even with years of indochinese AND being fellow Inchin's franchise goer, the pani puri in a shot glass was a great new experience for the whole family! Presentation was top notch, and it gave a new sense of occasion. My wife and I cheered each other like alcoholic shots and felt like teenagers again! These shots were not only stylish, but they were sobering in flavor and crunch! Paneer paratha was unique and tasted like scrambled egg paratha of some sort. It's similar to popular Taiwanese version of scallion pancake with egg! Masala wings where I ordered with specification of less oil came out perfect as did the rest of the meal. As the night went on, we exchanged stories of the past and relatives before heading out into the terribly windy and wet night again. Nothing could have given us a better mental refuge of the outpouring and flashes of lightning than the flood of flavor and hospitality from Little Inchin's on the other side of the Falls. Come in for some mom and pop experience of a lifetime and buckle up for a journey to flavor town. Their payment machine was broken and I couldn't even tip them tonight when I wished to double what was customarily charged for a table of 5+. This review is the least I could do.

This comes in different spice levels. A plate of 6 shrimp. Mains: Garlic Naan Plain Basmati Rice Chicken Korma (mild) Beverage: Mango Lassi I cannot tolerate a lot of spice and ordered the chicken curry (mild). For me the sauce of the chicken korma was almost too thick and too mild. My partner if did a taste test would not have thought it was a curry dish. Our favourite was the garlic naan and secondly the coconut shrimp. I wanted to try a mango lassi. It was less sweet than I hoped and it had a strong yoghurt flavour. I won't be ordering a mango lassi again. It is a 3 minute walk from the Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn by Marriott hotels, off Clark Avenue. The restaurant is in a free standing building and there is free parking adjacent to the restaurant. The service is friendly and very efficient.

It was a bit over a 20 minute walk from the touristy area (think Cliffton Hill), it was filled with people, and we felt very safe. We ordered lamb curry, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala, as well as naan and a lassi mango drink. Everything was delicious! We asked for medium spice and it had a little bit of a kick to it. I learned that my preference should be chicken over lamb because chicken allows the flavors to really shine, while the lamb competes a bit for attention. The naan was exactly what we needed to sop up the sauce, and the rice was absolutely perfect: light and fluffy. In addition to being absolutely delicious, I want to shout out this business for their kindness. A few homeless folks stepped in, asked for a plate, and stepped outside to wait. The gentleman who was at the counter simply nodded. They proceeded to put together a set of to go boxes with food for each person who asked. It was a simple process, not disruptive to anyone eating at the restaurant, and an extremely intentional act of kindness for their community. I hope their business prospers, and they can continue to help those who need it.

This time, we ordered lamb biryani and it did not disappoint! We highly recommend the biriyani at Taste of Bombay!
