Niagara Falls has finally found its spice. Where the strip once offered little beyond overpriced, deep-fried chain fare, a welcome wave of Indian kitchens has arrived, and Dhaba On The Falls rises above them. We walked past neighbours with flashier signage and followed the crowd instead, a choice rewarded at once. A room this full of Indian diners is rarely the work of search rankings. It is word of mouth, earned plate by plate. The cooking is honest and layered, with spices that build rather than shout and gravies of genuine depth. Our request for heat, stated and then stated again, was not quietly diluted as so often happens elsewhere. The kitchen understood exactly what spicy means to those who ask for it, and delivered with conviction. I love that. Service is brisk and attentive, helped by a tableside call button that actually works, a small touch that suits a room this lively. Expect a busy, bustling dining room at peak hours. It is part of the charm, though not the setting for a hushed evening. For everyone else, this is real food cooked with care, a short stroll from the Falls. read more

So nice we had to go twice! When my girlfriend and I visited Niagara, we only planned on eating here once for dinner. But after we did so, we had to come back before leaving. The food here is incredibly flavorful, and we loved sharing each other's entrees. My favorite meal was the goat curry and the garlic naan. The mango lassi is also the perfect complement. They did warn us before ordering some meals that the food would be spicy, but I didn't think there was anything that was too spicy for me. The servers are also super friendly, and our meals came out quickly. The next time we're visiting the falls, we'll make sure to stop by!! read more

This place is so good, we came back to have dinner here twice in a row! We loved it. The area is in upper Clifton hill and is near all the nice Clifton Hill attractions. The service was pretty quick and the server was very accommodating. The first night we had their Delhi style Butter Chicken and the Lamb Curry. The second night we had the Goat Curry. Everything was incredible. We had it with their rice and garlic naan. We paired everything with a nice Mango Lassi. When we come back to Niagara we will for sure put this in our list! read more

There are a lot of restaurants in Niagara so it can be hard to choose a place, but I highly recommend coming to Dhaba on the Falls. The restaurant looks brand new and has very nice decorations. It was very busy but we were still able to get a table without waiting. They have a long list of vegetarian options! I ended up trying the samosa chaat and dhal puri. Both were SO GOOD! The sauce on the dhal puri was so flavorful and fresh. The samosas were perfectly seasoned and spicy. My parents got the lamb vindaloo. I didn't try the lamb but they said it was very well cooked and tender. I dipped our garlic naan in the vindaloo sauce and it was sooo good. It was rich and spicy and very tasty. Also, our food came out so fast! I highly recommend eating here! read more

I ate here 2 years ago when I went to Niagara falls for summer break. We ordered the chicken 65 appetizer and veg momos. Service was so slow even though there were only 2 tables waiting! The table next to us even left because it was taking too long. That's not even the worst part...I got terrible food poisoning after and had to fly back the next day. Be cautious if you eat here, the restaurant right across is probably better because it was packed. read more

Came to visit Niagara and stopped by this place for lunch. However, food was just med. Spinach paneer- you can't even taste the spinach. Way to creamy for my taste Butter chicken- too creamy but the chicken was moist Chef special paneer- too creamy as well. The server didn't even ask what spice level we wanted. If you like creamy dishes, then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would pass. read more

The food is great and delicious. The service is also good. We went on a Sunday around 7:45 pm so there were enough tables without hustle. Ambiance here is neat and good except the rest room facility. The rest room is not maintained well leading to bad smell and I hope the odor doesn't get in to the eating space. I request the owner to look in to this hygiene issue. read more

Came here based on several recommendations (the front desk clerk at our hotel and my wife's friend from Toronto). My daughter and son loved the food. My wife loved one of the dishes but the Dal was a bit bland for our taste and simple onions they don't give which is not typical for an Indian restaurant especially at the prices but other restaurants in the area are similar or even more expensive. Our server Priyanka was AMAZING she talked us through the menu and made several recommendations. read more

I cannot believe I didn't try this place before, this place gets so packed, one of the best Indian food I had so far in Canada. I got the Delhi style butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, lamb biryani. The service was excellent, gave us complimentary water bottles, the naan was hot and fresh. The lamb biriyani was excellent, the rice was fragrant, meat was tender, perfect balance of spice. The Delhi style butter chrome had good amount of heat and sweetness that's the perfect butter chicken not too sweet, the chicken murgh tikka had good flavour too it just wish it came out sizzling but I think that's hard just because with the volume of people coming in and out and this place does not take reservations, the biriyani was insane one of the best biriyani I ever tasted, meat was tender loved the aromatics with the rice, I could come back here, if I come back to Niagara Falls. I could eat the butter chicken all day, I belief this is true authentic Indian food nowadays Indian food has become westernized, this place brought Indian food back to Canada. read more

This place was packed even at 10:30pm on a Sunday night!!! Great location! Great Food!! Great place!!! There is free parking across the street off Clifton! And we only waited about 15mins which was fairly quick! The music was right on and set the mood for an awesome evening! We were greeted right away by the host and we placed our order! The menu was was boasting amazing authentic Punjabi dishes and I wish we could have tried everything! But we went with the seekh kebabs and Delhi style butter chicken (bone in and spicy AF) The kebabs came out sizzling and paired well with the tamarind chutney! A amazing way to start our dinner! And then the main dish... Delhi Style Butter Chicken.... I had a bite and immediately needed Lassi! It was THAT SPICY!!!! However my husband was enjoying and savoring each and every bite!!! He's a true Indian and was immediately taken back and reminded of "home" and the curry paired well w the naan, which was soft- buttery- and perfect! We ended the meal w ras- malai which was sweet and milky! Overall great food!! Unfortunately the service was quite slow- it took them over 25mins to bring the food out and then another 20+mins for the main dish, and another 25mins to bring the dessert! The great thing however was the quality of food- the music; which made up for wasted time in waiting! If you're visiting the Falls- definitely make sure to visit this place!! read more

Great staff. The place was packed and it was very in tune with the ambience of Niagara city all in all. The food wasn't that great. Though the quantity was good - the food itself wasn't in the list of top Indian foods I've tried. I may still go for the hospitality of the staff and the quick service despite the rush - will probably try different things on the menu. read more

Curries were too sweet. I ordered butter chicken and paneer lababdaar. Customer service is good.

Incredible food. Ate here multiple nights while visiting the falls. The staff are also wonderful and the service is quick and thorough. Lovely atmosphere as well. Highly recommend! read more

The interior was beautiful, although the exterior was very banal. Really appreciated the complimentary water bottles. We were in a hurry and were so thankful that the food came very fast. We ordered butter chicken, dal makhani, rice, naan, fresh lime soda, mango lassi, sirka pyaaz. All the food and drinks tasted great. I was just bummed that the mocktails / cocktails were not available that day. Naans were really soft. Service was very attentive and prompt. Really glad we stopped despite being in a hurry. read more

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I loved the cozy ambience. It was such a treat to enjoy a meal without the loud music that is common in many Punjabi restaurants. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. While the prices are a bit high, it would be great if they included a little rice with the curries for extra value. Special thanks to Simran who was a fantastic host, attentive, responsive, and made the whole experience even better. read more

place is popular, we went sunday late afternoon and there was a lot of people there. garlic naan is not as thick as some of the ones i'm used to eating in america but was still really good. the delhi style butter chicken is very spiced with aromatics but slightly too strong for my taste just personal opinion from someone who has sensitive taste buds saffron rice was also really strong with saffron smell. big enough for two people. paneer critters were my favorite but my friend preferred the butter chicken instead. i'd go back! read more

First meal in Canada! After seeing Niagara Falls and the reviews for this place, I decided to give it a try. The Mango Lassi is decent. Nothing to rave about. The sweet lime soda was interesting but it needed ice. Service was mediocre even though it was not very busy. As for the food, the butter chicken was watery, lacked salt, and made with white meat that was a bit dry. Butter chicken sadly really needed butter. The lamb korma was better in terms of flavor. Overall, a bit disappointed in the food. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The food was tasty but during my meal I noticed that the chicken for the butter chicken I ordered was raw. I washed off the sauce to double check and it was indeed raw, the meat was still pink for that piece and it didn't flake, felt and looked like raw chicken. I called the staff over to let them know and they first told me that they didn't understand what I was saying, then they came back and said it's not possible because they cooked it, despite the piece of raw chicken being right there in front of them. It's really horrible customer service to be okay with serving your customer raw food and not own up to your mistake, and just dismiss everything despite having evidence right in front of you. It doesn't matter how good the food tastes when you don't have any concerns for food safety. read more

All food was great with lots of flavor! Our server Nabina was very nice and helpful. The inside was very nice as well. We did not have to wait for a table on a Monday night. They have lots of vegan options and make notes on dietary restrictions to ensure your food comes out correctly. Pani puri comes with 6 balls with ingredients on the inside, and pani to pour in yourself. The roti comes with butter on it, but you can probably request for it to be served without butter. The water was in disposable plastic water bottles. They have parking passes that you have to get from the host of you want to park in their parking lot. read more

Loved the food and service. The cocktail with masala continues to make my mouth water. The quality of the saag paneer and dhal makni made us order more food for take out. Food is great and if you want a side of racism this is a great spot. My boyfriend and I wanted some Indian food for our 1st trip to Canada on Valentine's day, unfortunately things fell behind and although we arrived late night at this restaurant (close to 1 am) there were still a few tables there. The host was very kind and apparently the only person who paid us any attention. The servers seemed to discuss amongst themselves who would go to our table to help us only after the Host came out from the kitchens to let them know we had been seated at our table waiting on someone. We realized we had a plastic table call so we thought maybe the staff just relied on that to pay attention to patrons. Towards end of our meal we used it to get our check and the server went to another table instead to ask if they needed help and looked over at us and then signaled to a different server to come help us settle our bill. We even tried to assume maybe it's a language barrier or strict rules on dividing tips but the whispering and the looks don't help their case. There are other Indian restaurants to go to if you would like to be treated fairly. read more

Overall (B+) It's good not great. Safe bet food - nothing special. Service (A-) The staff was super nice, friendly and attentive. With proper training they could be an A or A+. Value (B+) Typical Niagara pricing a bit on the pricing side. But what do you expect? Food (B) Me and my wife were super excited to have a sit down proper Punjabi meal. But were disappointed. We had high expectations since we observed it fairly busy the night before. The garlic NAan I had was really good. But besides that the food was just good. Not great. Not bad. My wife makes better food at home - besides the garlic naan. Also the mango lassi was watered down. The presentation of the food is awesome. But unfortunately the taste don't match up. We were super hungry and super excited also. It's a safe bet place. Nothing great but nothing bad either. There are probably 20 different Indian options in Niagara so I'm assuming there is something better. We won't be going again but others may like it. I feel like it caters to non-Indians who rarely have Indian food or have never. Feels like an introduction to the flavors without the richness or depth. read more
