They seem to be white flour artificially colored dark with areas of white dough where the coloring was not mixed in properly. This presents a health concern if you are sensitive to food coloring....also people choose whole wheat to avoid white flour for nutrition purposes.... so just getting a white flour substitute is shameful! In addition pricing is astronomical for the quality you get!

He first told me the sandwich is $10.00 and when I saw thr bill and I asked him why the extra charge he said because of the vegetables. That I could get a tiny container of potatoes salad or cold slaw. Where do they serve a tuna sandwich without anything on it??? When i asked him to put the 1 slice of pizza and the French fries together in a small box, he ignored me and proceeded to give me the Pizza in a brown bag and the fries in a brown bag. Only after my telling him again to put them in a box did he do it making himself like I am the one that is crazy. I walked out paying $25.00 for a plain slice of pizza, a small regular fries, and a can of seltzer. I find the prices to be outrageous and the service to be bad. The boss was standing next to the Spanish guy and didnt even look to see what was happening. Mind you, I spoke to him in perfect Spanish (I am a latina jew) but it was aparent that it was not a language barrier. I shall not go back there. The boss would do go to read this review and check on his workers. And maybe give good and enough food for the prices he charges.

So there we were stuck in the baggage area of JFK until the next flight came with our bags(about 4 hours). We asked around about a place to lay down or grab a bite and one lady that worked there said "try the place upstairs in that little elevator." it seemed like an odd thing to say, and it sorta was, but we squeezed in this small elevator to see what was upstairs. We exited the elevator to this amazing place that seemed surreal. there was a long white tube walkway that was brightly lit. It brought us to... the TWA terminal! it was AMAZING! It was redesigned to look just like a 1950's terminal but with a little panache to it as well. It really is hard to describe how beautiful it all was. As our sleep deprived trio wandered about we made it to the food hall that had the bagels and muffins. The food looked so good, and was. But again we had almost no sleep so we were biased. We were able to get a little sleep too so the place seemed amazing. To think, if we hadn't missed our bags, we may have never discovered this incredible spot that turned out the most interesting part of the trip!
