I originally had my brows done in 2004 in Germany and permanent makeup was just a small blip on the radar of the beauty industry. My brows ended up large, had solid lines and DARK. I immediately regretted my decision and prayed that they would fade, shrink, or that I could hide them with makeup. Fast forward to 2011, and microblading was the newest technique and I had hoped that this could soften the edges by adding hair strokes. The result, my eyebrows were even bigger, black and still looked like a stamp had created them. Thank goodness for Dermablend to cover them. Krystal took my case for saline removal with hopes of one day having "real" looking eyebrows. Many sessions got me considerably lighter before I went to have the laser removal. Thankfully, the first session of the laser even astounded the business owner since the laser achieved such excellent success after just one session. Today, back in Krystal's chair to get the brows of my dreams and she did NOT disappoint! She took the time to accurately and studiously map my brows to match my face, shape, tone and personality. I cried tears of joy that for the first time, I look normal, feel confident and have the face that I always deserved. Brows REALLY do hold that much power! Don't trust them with just anyone. Gorgeous European Studio fits that criteria for me, and I feel others need to know about this experience This studio was recommended to me by someone that I know and trust; so I did not hesitate to make an appointment. I was very excited; as I am 62 years of age, and have always wanted to have my brows done, but was fearful that if a bad job was done, there would be no hiding it, so it was not until recently that I chose to take this step. There are two appointments in this process, and I completed the first one, which I found to be satisfactory. It was a big change for me going from a thin eyebrow to a fuller one, so I factored this into my level of satisfaction. I was told to contact this provider between 4-6 weeks to arrange the final appointment, which I attempted on week 4 via text. This is the place in which I TALK about the new KIND of provider. Since I did not hear back from the provider, I called later in the week, I. WhichI did get ahold of her, in which I was told to text her with my request. I did so, and she responded promptly, asking if I could come in the following day, in which I responded I could not, as I was having to go out of town for three days. I asked if there was anything available the following week, which would be week 6, in which she stated that this would be too late, and that it was my job to make my appointments within the appropriate time frame, and that it was not her fault that I was setting up my second appointment too late, and now if I wanted to complete the process it would cost me more money. I will let you know that the provider did not let me know that I had to make sure the final appointment was done between 4-6 weeks, which actually I would have been within this time frame. I once again explained that I had texted her, but did not hear back, and shared that I was having to fly out of town due to my mother being on Hospice, which had not been planned. Her response was "sorry for your problem" with a sad emoji, but that there was nothing she could do to help! I'll be honest, I was shocked; I am 62 years of age, have a Master's in Social Work, and was brought up with the belief system that you always do right by anyone you work with. I have always worked with pride, and always with the intent of doing the best job I could. This young woman could have cared less; showed no compassion, or empathy, and was only willing to finish the job if I gave her more money. Now in all fairness to her; I could not find the text I sent her, so it most likely did not get to her! I suspect she did not believe that I sent it, but irregardless there did-does not appear to be any pride or concern whether she gets a good review or not! I let her know that I would be letting the person know who referred her what had happened , and that sad for her I could not giver her a good review. I even left a sad emoji. I will never recommend this provider to anyone.
