This is a versatile little spot - in the morning, it's a friendly brunch spot for yummy mummies and groups of young friends....in the evening, it turns into a buzzing bar, seemingly a local haunt for young singles, something akin to the pub in the show 'Coupling'. I have only been to this place twice - once heavily pregnant and the next time with a newborn, so while I have very much enjoyed their delectable food menu, I am yet to check out their happy hour cocktail deals, which look quite tempting.
On Fri/Sat evenings, they even have live music to accompany the drinking...this seems like it'll be our go-to spot once the little one is old enough to be left behind with a babysitter :D
Edit: Went back there tonight on a Sunday evening... the conservatory area was quiet enough for a few of us to relax over a bottle of wine (their Malbec's alright) and cocktails with our buggy quietly parked next to the table. Btw, I must mention their super friendly service - their waiters are chatty and accommodating, very considerate of any special requests and generally good fun :) Makes me want to keep going back... read more
