The Oceano has both: Fish and meat dishes. I love their black pepper beefsteak. My partner enjoys their spicy chicken. His family visited us last weekend. His parents and his brother had fish and they loved it. It's a very nice family restaurant and very cheap for London as well. Most of the dishes cost less than 10 pounds. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They don't really have a disabled toilet but the Ladies was big enough for my wheelchair.

Not all the dishes were five stars but there were some definite highlights - for me it was the 24-month-aged St Jorge cow's cheese which did somersaults on my tastebuds, whilst my guy really liked their beef sandwich. We found the runner bean fritter a bit of a waste but both dived for the last mussel which was served in a small tin and beautifully seasoned. The custard tart which you have to reserve a slice of early as they only make one a night, was actually a bit disappointing - I found it a little too gooey for my liking. Every dish feels very thoughtfully prepared, and it was so nice to feel that thought and care extend to the service here, with a lovely welcome from the front of house who made sure we were happy sitting in the front 'outside but inside' area. Our waiter also took very good care of us, happily advising on dishes and in my case the wines too, as I hadn't heard of many of the grape varieties. So the 5th star is for their charm. A good feed if you're in the area with a very relaxed, rustic feel, but be warned the prices stack up quickly with this type of food! It is so refreshing to have a decent eatery on Bedfont High Street, that isn't a Fast food joint. It has an alcohol license, so is always buzzing. The food is great, and is a mix of Portugese and english food. Having a beer with a cooked English breakfast, when your not feeling your best will soon sort you out after a night out!! Prices are reasonable, and the guys who work there are so friendly. I love going here during the weekend, as it has a real European atmosphere. If you are in the area check it out!

Now they have expanded into serving delicious take out foods such as falafel, salads, fries, and different delicious sandwiches. They have the best, baguettes, bread, coconut puffs, cinnamon buns. Really. And OMG their water challah is absolutely to die for. The owner is always around and willing to help if you have any issues, so are the wonderful women behind the counter.
