Their cup supplies were not very well organized and it took some time to find it. We went through the grocery section and noticed that the prices are basically grocery store prices. There is no wholesale. If someone was looking for much larger sizes of things for a restaurant, they could certainly find it there. However, I found it expensive they have fresh produce which could be purchased more cheaply at Costco at the cash register. We were asked if we would use our PC optimum card and that's when we realized this is a grocery store with some restaurant supplies, one of the big things that should have triggered that thought was that there's no membership required. In terms of the staff, I found people very friendly, and the location is quite good. If I were just reading the staff, they would get a five star.

Last night I had to retrieve something from that p-trap under our ensuite sink. The plumbing for…read morethe drain is old, freezing, and the coupling broke. The alignment was never quite right, the house was built in 1991 and the builder seemed to have just forced the drain to fit. This likely put extra pressure on the plastic nut holding the p-trap to the plumbing leading away. I decided to fix this, and my wife suggested that I go to the local Home Hardware instead of the typical big box in the neighboring city. She figured I'd get better service. She was 100% right. The gentleman in plumbing this morning (Sept. 19, 2026) was fantastic. He set me up with a piece that had a ball-like pivot where the trap connects to the rest of the plumbing and what a difference it made. True, I had to return but that was due to me not being accurate during the first visit as to the diameter of the drain pipe descending from the sink. No matter, this same gentleman was just as willing to help. I'm sorry that I didn't get his name, but if the store owner/manager happens to know, could you please pass on my sincerest thanks and appreciation to him? He made a somewhat stressful situation for me a breeze! I will definitely return to this great local store again, especially when I need specific advice.

Taylor McKay who is the Sales Floor Leader, Sam, and other store staff have been incredibly incredibly helpful. They have provided exceptional customer service and have been extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional, kind, and patient with my million-and-one questions regarding the best dog food for my dog. They have an incredibly helpful sale once a year on dog food that allows for very helpful savings, and a system set up that allows you to purchase what you need for the year at the sale price and have it stored at the store. They also are set up with reward programs where you buy a certain number of bags and get a bag free. I can't say enough positives about this store and the staff, and truly appreciate all of their endless help. Thank you:)

Well ... at Best Buy craziness ensued: cars were parked all over the place, inside it was complete pandemonium -- there's no way I could have gotten anything in any amount of time that would not have made me rue the day I had ever driven there. So I returned to Gibson's. Boy, am I glad I did. The deals there were just as great ($750 for a Samsung LED Smart TV) and there weren't the crowds to deal with, service was personal and stress-free, and within 10 minutes I was walking out with my TV. No sales pressure, no stress, no BS. And the best part is Gibson's personalized customer care -- something goes wrong with the TV, they come to your house, they take it out, they fix it, they bring it back. Highly recommended. Him and his staff work hard and late hours as they try to fulfill orders and answer questions. By no means do I have any connections with IDC but I needed to write about their incredible service and fair prices. As an experienced shopper, I am patient and browse all sources for the best prices & quotes. IDC had bundled price packages which were the best-priced by far. They beat out BestBuy and American retailers. I'd highly recommend waiting for Black Friday or Boxing Day if you're in the market for espresso machines. They are a fair business with exceptional turn around and service. I read all the reviews on Yelp and it's apparent that the earlier reviews were 1-2 stars but it seems like that may be due to poor logistics and operations as a smaller shop trying to fulfill large orders across the country and to US. Evidently, Slawek and IDC has improved dramatically over the years as their business grew - their online orders sites is easy to navigate and have no bugs as they have a great online store front.
