Not the place to go if you want good drinks or food. Service was horrendous. Go some other place.

I had the Montreal smoked meat which looked promising but the meat was not as tasty as I was hoping. I guess don't order Montreal smoked meat outside of Montreal. I sat up at the bar and the bartender was lovely about and poured me a practically perfect Guinness. I had a great view of the hockey game on all the different screens available, great sport bar. Would come back to watch a game and change up my food expectations though.

I came here on Saint Patrick's day to score a green beer and they have a ton of beer options to choose from. Server was friendly and attentive and even offered a free green hat and glasses to add on the festivities. It's not too busy here and you'll easily get seats for Saint Patrick's Day. I think if you're huge into the holiday, you'll probably hit up Downtown. But if you want something low key and still get your green beer, this is a solid choice. We ordered the cheese burger and also the fish tacos along with some extra coleslaw. I heard the burgers are made in house and they are good and the fish taco size was quite generous and filling.

The Village wrap was bland in flavor, veggie focused with a decent amount of chicken as the protein and could have a side garden salad for $20. Patio was nice and behind the restaurant. The interior was simple but the server was friendly. We went in with our son, ordered meals and got our salads at least 15 minutes before my son received his chicken fingers and fries. The food is...food. I ordered a Greek salad and got a hair in it. I felt awful for the server, as she was clearly embarrassed by the speed of the service, the fact that three Interac terminals were broken, and the owner seemed more interested in hanging with the dudes at the bar instead of helping his one staff member serve customers. It was absolutely not her fault--it was the owners clear non-excitement to be running a business. The bathrooms need love. Replacing handles on cabinets is very cheap and quick. It's clear laziness is to blame. I'd go back if only to use the bathrooms while driving home. I mean, it was fine. Don't expect a good time or anything nice.

One of the staff recommended eats is the cheeseburger and duck wings. The smash burger and fries is very addicting. Maybe one of the best smash burgers I've had in a while. The duck wings are a generous portion size and a tasty sticky kind of goodness. We originally wanted brussel sprouts but it sold out so opted for the beet salad which is pretty good too. All in all, I'm surprised the food is so good! I may have enjoyed it more than the flight of beers we ordered. I told the staff to choose a selection for us. The CPA is one I prefered most among the ones I tried, with a bit more floral or complex notes than the rest. This family-run brewery and restaurant was converted from a small church and has been opened for a couple of years. Find your own seat, order and pay in the front and food would be sent to your table. The tip range suggested the same as a full service restaurant. There are six communal tables and also enclosed sheds outside for additional seating.
