After spending several days researching for dumpsters for a rehab job, I thought I found a deal. I should've known better! I asked if they covered a specific area, and they said yes. I was quoted a price and was told the size of the dumpster. I was also told there was an additional fee if the trash went over two tons. I was elated that the dumpster was bigger than what other companies quoted and less money, and since it was a small rehab job, we knew we wouldn't go over the weight limit. Well first clue I should have canceled with this company was I get a call back an hour later indicating that the area they JUST said they covered was at the far end of that area and there was an additional fee to travel there. They had to make sure they were paid for their time to travel there! WHAT?? Didn't I just confirm that you travel to that area??? Well there went the lower cost. Next, the dumpster that was brought out was so banged up and beat up, we thought that it needed to be dumped! Nonetheless, we proceed with the job, but had a hard time opening and closing the dumpster, that finally we just threw everything over the edge (making the job itself much harder.) Final nail in the coffin? We were told that we had gone over the weight limit by ONE TON!!! How is that possible? We only removed two ceilings, drywall in a bathroom, a hardwood floor, a couple layers of vinyl tile in the kitchen and bathroom, a few doors, two toilets, particle board cabinets and a fiberglass (PLASTIC) tub! That's more than TWO TONS? I'm told they can give me a piece of paper with the proof of the weight. REALLY? And that's proof how?? No recourse, so, gotta pay it. Ok, so you guys got me. But you'll never get repeat business from me, nor we will recommend you to anyone else ever! Three strikes you're out! read more

I ordered a dumpster at around 4:40pm on a Thursday and it arrived and was in place at 0700 the next morning. The Bolt staff are friendly and completely knowledgeable and will recommend the right size container for any demo job. (I was going to get a size smaller and they turned out to recommend the correct size after I told them the type of demo job I was conducting-they were spot on with their recommendation as I filled the container). I needed a dumpster for a garage demo and I called this company based on a neighbor's experience with them. I called Monday morning expecting not to get a dumpster until Tuesday or Wednesday, but they said they could be there that afternoon! The service was great and the driver was friendly and helpful.
