The softball fields are great for running the bases in between games, or flying a kite in the outfield. We tend to come in the evenings when it's cold so we haven't had a chance to use the splash pad but the structures in the area are still available for climbing. People opened it around 7 minutes late. My husband and I were about to leave but luckily stood around trying to make phone calls for long enough that someone eventually came and opened the gate. The only thing missing is a bathroom and while I understand that it's prevent homeless people from moving in, it does limit the amount of time that anyone can hang out here (especially with littles). It's seasonal and open starting Memorial weekend to Labor Day. There are 5 picnic benches and 7 park benches. 4 of those benches will be in the wet zone. There were two staff on duty.
