However, a lot of people have had issues and when we stumbled on the wisdom teeth guys, we could not believe the pricing! When we went in, we were all prepared to have all four wisdom teeth removed however, looking at the x-rays, they did not think that her top wisdom teeth which were not impacted or misaligned needed to necessarily come out. This significantly reduced the price that we had to pay. The procedure went on in about 30 minutes and she came out with some great instructions, a prescription, and a kit. within about five days, she was perfectly fine.

The staff took 100% great care of me and Dr.Robinson made sure I understood the process of removing my infected tooth. I was extremely nervous before the procedure and absolutely didn't want to have this done, but it was extremely necessary. The actual extraction procedure took only minutes and he made sure I was 100% numb before proceeding. I felt almost nothing during the actual extraction which was a total surprise! I would totally recommend this office and this surgeon to anyone needing any kind of oral surgery. They also got me in for this appointment quickly ensuring i didn't have a long wait in pain. They have several payment options available if you need that as well. Of course any kind of medical care can be pricey, but here at least you have options to pay for the service over time if needed. I needed to get a semi-emergent tooth extraction, and my dentist couldn't fit me in on such late…read morenotice, so I went to a referral of a referral. I got a bad feeling from the moment I walked in. The receptionists were not friendly, the place smelled funny, and from the look of other clientele, it was apparent that this was a very low-price-low-quality establishment. But my tooth was hurting so badly, I chanced it and went forward with the procedure. After a 45 minute wait, here is what happened: First, they took me to the consultation room, where Dr. Hill confirmed with me what medicines I was on, and tapped on the tooth to make sure it was the right one. I began to ask several questions about the procedure, and was told "my assistant will handle that after the procedure." Then, before answering any questions, they demanded that I pay beforehand. Another red flag. They also charged me a $55 "consultation fee" which they neglected to mention when I called about pricing. Apparently, the doctor checking which tooth he is going to pull counts as a "consultation." Also, important to point out that I heard the doctor and a receptionist discussing what tooth they were going to pull on another patient. She had written "13" instead of "20". So she scribbled it out and wrote the right one. Ummmm, that's a little scary! When I was taken back to the room, the doctor came in, and gave me several shots in a row. While they were 100% effective at numbing me (which is a huge consideration, I know), I think he gave me about 6 shots in 15 seconds. Literally just stabbing them into my gums. Nothing like I've ever experienced in my years of having dental work done. I was obviously very nervous about having a tooth pulled (almost hyperventilating) and he barely offered any assurances other than a quick "I'm the one that has to worry - not you." Gee, thanks. It took him 5 or 10 minutes to remove the tooth. Then I never saw him again. He said his assistant would answer all my questions, despite my request to talk to him. I should have been concerned when I was having a dental assistant answering questions about recovery from a major procedure. She knew nothing! I asked what I needed to do to prevent dry socket, and she said I didn't need to worry about it. I said "Well, I've heard I shouldn't suck on a straw. Anything else?" and she said 'Oh, don't worry. You can suck on a straw." WHAT?!? That's tooth extraction 101. No, you can't. I hated the practice so much that I refused to even go back for my checkup. I felt like a herded cattle being rushed through so they could charge as many "consultation fees" as they could. They could not care less about their patients. STAY AWAY.

I explained that we had already done a consultation with another oral surgeon in Saginaw and were shocked by their request for $2,000 upfront, which is why I was calling around for options. Before I could even explain further, the woman immediately cut in with, "Wisdom teeth removal is $4,000-$6,000," which felt dismissive and rushed. When I asked how that could apply to an insured patient--since in-network providers are limited to insurance-allowed amounts--she clarified that was the cash price, not the insured price. I explained that we have insurance and even dual dental coverage. She then told me they only bill the primary insurance, expect patients to pay the balance up front, and require the patient to file the secondary insurance themselves. While this may be common with some private dental offices in DFW, that doesn't make it reasonable. National dental groups understand how to bill properly by submitting both insurance plans and only collecting what they reasonably expect the final patient balance to be. In our case, that meant going from being asked to pay $2,000 upfront elsewhere to paying $300 upfront, with the expectation that the full amount would likely be refunded once secondary insurance processed. We're now booked and moving forward--but this office lost a potential customer due to poor communication and lack of patient care. Final recommendation: if you have secondary insurance or want clear billing and options, proceed with caution here. National dental groups offer a far smoother, more patient-centered experience.

Most of the reviews I see for this practice are for Dr. Wallace. While I've never met the man (and from what I've seen he's an amazing surgeon), I have to share some love for surgeon, Dr. McKnight. He and his team (the whole practice to be honest) were all first class. The surgery (while stressful since I am a worrier) and recovery were a breeze. At each point in the process I felt looked after, cared for, and informed. In the end, the most painful part of the process was the IV stick and the food restrictions, but that's par for the course with mouth surgery!

I was under IV sedation which made the surgery a lot less painful. In the following days they were very good about answering all my random questions and getting me in for follow-up appointments whenever I was worried about something or had a question. My friends had me pretty freaked out going into this, telling me how much it hurts and how long they were out of commission for. I don't think Dr. Reddy and team could possibly have done a better job in making sure this went smoothly. ALSO... I developed two dry sockets, probably due to my doing something stupid in the days following the procedure. The biggest warnings I got from people were about how much dry sockets hurt and how terrible they are. And yes, they suck. But when I called Dr. Reddy, they got me in IMMEDIATELY and looked everything over. He painlessly applied some medication to the sockets that alleviated the pain almost instantly: we were done within 5 minutes. I definitely recommend giving them a call to discuss your oral surgery needs.
